Nice frig.. with reservations

My last frig was a Kitchen Aid and was till working fine when I sold my house. I'm not keen on the handles because they stick out so far which really offsets the whole reason for the counter depth. Perfect Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great unit. Just wish the freezer had more holding power. Inside water feature is nice. The size fit perfectly in the designated space I had. One of the main reasons I purchased this model. Can you send me a video on how to change the water filter if available. I’ve always been a Kitchen Aid appliance customer. Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher and microwave. Very satisfied with them all.

Very Nice but Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great, the room is great but it is very loud when the ice maker is working. Love how it has a reminder to close the door if it isn’t closed all the way. Hopefully the fridge lasts a long time

Don’t waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 10/25. Water dispenser dripped immediately. Whirlpool has been out 5Xs, replacing one part at a time. It’s now 2/26, still drips and another wait for part response.This will be 6 visits over 4 months.

Disappointed

Disappointed in the quality of this refrigerator. After 7 years had to replace with the same fridge due to difficulty finding size. The new model is very cheaply made. The drawers are very flimsy. There are small details that have been overlooked compared to older models. There are screws that show on the side of the shelves (see pics of old and new) and also the door hinges on the bottom of doors are stainless steel whereas the old ones were black and looked a lot cleaner (see pics). Unfortuna...

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spent more money thinking the drawers and shelves would be nicer than the current standard. We were wrong. After just four months the “stainless” is rusting. We have all stainless in our kitchen so this is not a moisture issue. The drawers have no guides and just flop around when opening and closing. The shelves can’t be changed because of a horizontal bar in the middle of the unit.

Looks Great But .....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great but inside drawers are not very stable. They move around when opening/closing - service tech says there is no fix. Temperatures for inside and freezer are consistent, noisier that same 20 year old KitchenAid model we replaced. Do not like fixed divider in the freezer which prevents us from freezing larger items.

door alarm to soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Door alarm is to soft and takes to long to be set off. Freezer compartment smaller than expected. It was what installed in the new home I bought. Maybe theres a setting for alarm not sure.

Cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is not made as well as the iKitchensid ref that I had. The center drawer is cheap and slides poorly. BTW where is the crisper I have been waiting for 2+ months for it so I can use it in my Kitchensid microwave.

could use some design improvements

Could use a couple of design changes to improve it. 1) the pull out drawers have handles that face up so your hand lays down into them. This is going to get nasty, and will catch stuff. Should have cupped it up so that it can't hold "stuff." 2) water dispenser requires 2 hands, one to hold the cup, the 2nd to push the dispense button. Seems like they are moving backwards here..most dispensers activate when y...

Not the appliance I am accustomed to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the exact refrigerator that I had in my previous home and I find myself disappointed with several things. (1) No butter storage with a cover. (2) Left side door does not close easily. (3) Freezer door does not close easily.

Nice looking fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a whirlpool that was the same basic design and replaced it due to a kitchen remodel. Like the appearance. Lost some space by going with a counter depth but it is enough for us. Like the water filter push button dispenser. No more Brita pitcher.
