I read Consumer Reports and the two best were Bosch and Kitchen Aid brands. Bosch was a foreign company and one would have to order parts when needed and wait a week or more I was told. Kitchen Aid was American and parts would be here when needed much sooner. I went with the Amercian one - Kitchen Aid.

Spacious, full of options, but noisy
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is large with lots of options for fitting dishes in! It’s significantly louder than our previous 47db dishwasher, which is confusing. But we just move to a different room.

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher
I have had the dishwasher for about a week now. I filled it today for the first time. It was so quiet that I did not realize it was on. The dishes came out nice and clean with little to no water on them. The only thing I do not like about the dishwasher is that it takes to longe to wash the dishes.
