Disappointing Performance and Flimsy Build

The jets are frustratingly weak, leaving food residue even after a full cycle. Unless I use a rinse aid, dishes come out looking like they’ve barely been washed — and even then, the improvement is marginal at best. The build quality is equally disappointing. Great buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two weeks of use, I can state without hesitation this was a great purchase. The dishwasher is extremely quiet and totally worth the price. The racks are spacious and holds all sizes of utensils. The pro dry feature ensures that even my plastic items come out dry.

Super quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice appliance. It is so quiet you will go check to make sure that you started it! Third (top) row is a great use of inside space. Silverware basket is unique to keep them separated and allowing for cleaner utensils. Adjustable second rack is handy .

Mediocre

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: quiet operation gets dishes clean Cons: top tray has a ridiculous configuration - I prefer the style for silverware and cutlery only (like the GE Profile). Express cycle does not dry the dishes. With Pro dry, they are still a bit wet. My dishes fit poorly in the racks. For what I paid, I consider the Kitchen Aid brand to be disappointingly mediocre.

Annoying hum

While it does clean and dry well, there is a noticeable and penetrating ~55 Hz hum that emanates from the main pump throughout the cleaning cycle that has occurred since delivery. Quiet and efficient.

We had to use it frequently right from the start because we needed to wash items that had been in storage. The dishwasher has been more than we expected. It is efficient, quiet and cleans well. I highly recommend it.

Easy to change settings unknowingly if not careful

Purchased two week ago on clearance. Great price. The dishwasher is very quiet and cleans very good. Needed a few runs to optimize the location of certain items. The washer holds a large number of items and therefore I only need to run every other day (4 people in home).

Better than what I had before

Lives up to expectations

Dries better than Frigidaire Gallery or even Bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a better dishwasher to dry our dishes and this one fits the bill! The third rack allows our plastic insulated Terri’s cups to wash thoroughly and dry completely no more unloading wet cups onto a dish towel on counter to sit or hand dry. They are perfectly dry and ready to put away. The third rack has room for kitchen utensils that normally wouldn’t fit or wash properly. All is good with this model
