Beware of floor models

We were excited to purchase a new Kitchen Aid dishwasher. It turns out that the dishwasher (floor model). It turned out that this was a 3 year old machine. After getting it installed, it leaked and we had to file for warranty service. The machine was missing parts that had been scavengered at the store. It's a great machine but so disappointed that Lowe's did not make us aware that the machine was 3 years old and that it had missing parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a Bosch dishwasher with this one from Kitchenaid. As impressed as we were when we got the Bosch we are more impressed with this one. It is very quiet and dries the dishes very well. It has a better display to see how much time is left and even indicates what cycle it is on. All and all a better dishwasher for us.

Ideal pick

I love the three loading rack options and their smooth opening and closing feature compared to the design of the other popular brands. The speed cycle is very efficient and all dishes come out very clean and dry.

It’s absolutely quiet which we love because the kitchen is open to the living room and I can run it now whenever because you can’t hear it! Everything is dry when it’s done with no standing water on things and I have lots more room with the third shelf. I love this dishwasher.

Bigger and better!

A great machine

The dishwasher is very quiet. I appreciate the digital screen which indicates the stage of the selected wash cycle. The dishes are spotless.

Replaced our 5 year old LG

bad silverware basket design
