Would Not RecommendI purchased a 3 piece set of speedbore max bits recently , needing to bore 3/4 in. holes through 1 1/2 in clear pine for dowels. Using bit in my drill press, after about 12 holes the bit would no longer cut and get lodged into the hole. The bit looks as if I was drilling metal. Scored and burred from the cutting tips all the way up the flutes. Nothing but garbage. Price was right, but you get what you pay for

Great bit, clean holes with handheld drill
Would RecommendThis thing worked perfect for putting holes in thick boards with only a handheld drill. Takes a lot of power but the screw guide at the bottom made it really easy to line up the hole perfectly.

Would RecommendThis bit bores like a dream. The only issue I had was that it clogged if I drilled more than about two inches, so I had to pull it out to clear clear the debris. Might have been because the treated wood was not dry.

Works great for drilling holes in tree stomps very fast. However,if using a powerful drill, you need to back the drill bit out a few times as you drill deep to prevent binding which will snap the shank off the bit.
