Works well

Installed on end of a bench, both lined up correctly and had no play in the screws or guide pins.

Very Sturdy Little Wood Vise

This is a great little wood vise, and a bargain at it's price. I took off one star because it doesn't have a metal stop on the faceplate that you can raise and use with bench dogs on your workbench.

Just right but without soft pads

Can’t go wrong with this for the price. Very usable. I’d say it’s perfect.

Great value

The quality appears to be good. When closed completely mine has a gap at the bottom like others have reported. I remember the fancier clamp in my high school’s wood working did the same. Anyways, it’s about the thickness of a wooden coffee stir stick. When I put wood face plates on I will probably shimmy the backside so that the plates close flush.

Small but effective

Not for large jobs, but adding blocks to make it so it will handle most of what I do in woodshop.

This vise does exactly what I need it to. I have a small bench to do some woodworking projects on and didn't want to invest in a large, more expensive vise at this time. I'm extremely impressed with this vise for what I paid for it. It does have some size limits, but as long as you know you won't be doing any really large projects it will be fine. Works really well for 2" and 1" thick material.

Worked as Intended

These are the first vice grips that I have ever bought. Not exapensice and the tool worked well.

Great vise displayed, not sold, at my local Lowes

I saw this vise at my local Lowe's, and it was exactly what I needed. However, they only displayed the item, so I went straight to amazon and got it at a lower price. Great vise for the price. It'll serve it's purpose well

Perfect Portable Size for Motorcycle Tool Roll

I bought this for my motorcycle tool roll. It’s perfect size. It won’t be as heavy duty as bigger cousins but I don’t need it on the motorcycle. It’s super heavy duty and hope I don’t need to use it!!!

Have been looking for a good set of pliers at a reasonable price and found it recently at my Lowe's store.
