Nice for the price

I bought this for a bench that I just finished in my garage. I added some wood to it so the vise is level with the bench top. My only complaint is that the jaws don't move apart when I loosen the vise, I have to pull them apart. Other than that, it is a nice addition to my bench. That is why the 4 stars.

Handy third hand

Needed something to hold gun stocks while working on them and this vise works great. A bit of leather for padding to protect the wood and now I can use both hands to work with and not have the work piece flopping all around.

Not a bad little vise

Does the job. For the price it can't be beat. I was very impressed with Lowe's shipping, I ordered on a Saturday night and had it Tuesday PM. It's a little vise but it works great.

Very Good Cocsidering Price

This is an excellent vise for the average hobby-type woodworker. You can probably pay more for some vises, but for the money, this one is top notch. I mounted it on my work bench as my secondary vise. Works great!!

There were no spacing nuts to install the product.

I could not install the vice on my work bench because the product did not come with two spacing nuts. I went back to the store and the demo product had regular screwing nuts used to install the product.

for twenty bucks it's a good deal. have had one for about a little over a year and just purchased a second one for a work bench. works great

Good vise!

I'm glad I decided on this vise it has a good grip and can't beat the price, it probably took me less than 20 mins to installed it, I'm a rookie but I like to work on little projects at home, I definitely recommend it to family and friends. I watched a video "Stone and sons workshop" YouTube

Did not work

I suspect this item was a manufacturer's defect but the screw would not operate the clamp. The handle would just spin and do nothing. I returned it. It might be a fine product if its not broken but I cant speak to that since the only one I bought was a bad one.

FINALLY

I have wanted this for a while, but due to budget constraints I can only buy my woodworking stuff one at a time. It secures my projects pieces AWESOME!

Good vise for the money

This is not a real woodworker's vise, not for 20 dollars. It is easy to install and clamps adequately, but racks too easily. It of course needs face blocks.
