What Customers Are Saying
This screw extractor set has mixed performance. Some users found it effective at removing seized or stripped screws and bolts, while others reported issues with the drill bits wearing out quickly or the extractors themselves breaking. The quality and durability of the components seem to be the main concerns. However, a number of users did express satisfaction with the product, especially for lighter-duty applications.

Didn't extract a stripped set screw for me
Would Not RecommendI was trying to remove a stripped screw on a bathroom faucet, but the extractor did not extract the set screw. I ended up just drilling out the set screw.

Good extractors, cheap bits.
Would RecommendWorks great. Extractors seem to be built well. Drill bits are cheap, but that’s not unusual for a set like this.

Removed nroven brass fitting from aluminum head
Would RecommendThe thing that made removing the remains of the temp sensor tricky was head was still installed ant it was in a cramped space the brass was very thin tried a few different extractors that were just cutting the brass so I read reviews and these were top rated , it bit immediately and pulled it right out saved me the trouble of pulling a head from a new rebuild .
The “ back-up(out) for when the original plan fail
Would RecommendThis easy-out “turned out” (see what I did there?) to be the “cat’s-meow”. I had broken one in an old set and found these at the Lowes store. Made the job easy!

Make sure extractor is snug in whole.
This product is more sturdy than some of the other kits I looked at. It worked well and did not strip. I did have to make sure it was snug before it would extract the bolt.

Saved my butt on getting bolt out of car
Would RecommendSnapped the head off of a bolt on my car and wasnt able to drive it with the way it was. I ended up buying this in hopes it would work. Well it didnt have instructions and i have never done it before lol. I took my time and slowly drilled with the drill bit and would keep taking the shavings out with a magnet to make a nice clean hole. Got deep enough where i thought i could use the reverse bit and went slowly and pushed down a little while going slow and then would go fast for a second untill i...

Okay In A Pinch
Drill bits are not very high quality, one of them broke the end off.
When You Need One, Nothing Else Will Do
Would RecommendWorked like a charm taking out a broken grease zerk. Great to have the correct sized drill bit as part of the package.

Gets you out of a jam*
Would Recommend*Under the precise circumstances, that is. If the circumstances are perfect, then these are worth 10x the price. This set saved my sanity when I snapped a bolt in my motorcycle's rear brake caliper. Simply drill into the snapped/stripped bolt with the largest bit you can use without touching the threads (as of you were playing Operation), then use the biggest extractor you can use (test by hand; if it "grabs", the patient is ready for extraction), turning LEFT. If you broke a bolt because you we...
Used once and Worked Great
Would RecommendUnfortunately when working on my car I broke a bolt to the waterpump going into the engine block, I thought there was no hope. The small speed out extractors with two sides didn't work in the slightest, it couldn't even penetrate the bolt. Plus with those in the past I ran into the problem of those breaking into the bolt which is a whole different problem on it's own. These include drill bits which were drilling into a steel bolt and was able to extract the bolt with ease, saving my car! I would...
