Didnt work

This didnt do what it was suppose to do. maybe because I had a more difficult task for this project. So I returned it.

Worked As Advertised

The kit worked as advertised and the two bits did not dull after use. However, longer-term use will really indicate quality.

DO NOT BUY

Cheap product that doesn’t work… Not worth using Drill bits wore out immediately, and the backout bit tip snapped off immediately

Doesn’t work

I did not like that there are no instructions and the manufacture doesn’t make any instructional videos on how to use this product. The drill bits went dull after one use. The other part never grabbed.

Least expensive screw extractor that works

I've bought a few screw extractor sets over the last few years. I've never had success with them, I've always ended up needing to figure out a different solution. I shear a bolt off on my PTO hitch. It left a small enough stub that I couldn't grab it with any of my visegrips. I needed to replace the bolt to get back to work so I decided to give these a shot. Broken bolt removal

Worked to remove broken bolt. Take your time. The bits were as strong as other drill bits did not have an issue like some reviews.

Good for the job.

Needed to drill grade 8 bolts. Titanium oxide wouldn't scratch them. These were perfect.

Not a good tool

Junk , I bought this set to remove an aluminum bolt and it snapped instantly. The blot only had 15 FtLbof torque.

Not left handed drill bits

Drill bits are all right handed. Left handed bits will often work out the screw by themselves without even needing to use the extractor...

Worked easily!

So I've used some of the other brands with the double sided bits... I really never had success, but tried 4 times on different items over the years. I came across a situation where I really couldn't afford to fail... This set worked on the first try. They are expensive BUT WORTH IT. The drill goes *in* (not reverse like the others), the extractor is in reverse, obviously. This set pulled out a stripped (allen head) solenoid set screw out of an old paintball marker that meant the world to me....

Life saver and headache reliever

Tightened the bolt on my Cobalt's (vehicle) replacement exhaust VVT solenoid and broke the bolt head right off. To get the broken bolt out, I started with this product's drill bit first to get a hole going (smallest first of course, because you can always go larger but once its too large you can't go back). Saved the day

I was doing a replacement of an oven igniter… but I stripped a screw trying to get access to the igniter … this kit worked perfectly. I was very worried it wasn’t going to work.

I needed this for extracting coin-shaped weights about the diameter of a nickel where the Torx fitting was completely stripped out and lock tite added to the threads. Great set but would purchase better drill bits to start the hole. Extracted a broken valve cover bolt with ease.
