What Customers Are Saying
This screw extractor set has mixed performance. Some users found it effective at removing seized or stripped screws and bolts, while others reported issues with the drill bits wearing out quickly or the extractors themselves breaking. The quality and durability of the components seem to be the main concerns. However, a number of users did express satisfaction with the product, especially for lighter-duty applications.

Worked As Advertised
Would RecommendThe kit worked as advertised and the two bits did not dull after use. However, longer-term use will really indicate quality.

Doesn’t work
Would Not RecommendI did not like that there are no instructions and the manufacture doesn’t make any instructional videos on how to use this product. The drill bits went dull after one use. The other part never grabbed.

Least expensive screw extractor that works
Would RecommendI've bought a few screw extractor sets over the last few years. I've never had success with them, I've always ended up needing to figure out a different solution. I shear a bolt off on my PTO hitch. It left a small enough stub that I couldn't grab it with any of my visegrips. I needed to replace the bolt to get back to work so I decided to give these a shot. Bit readily drilled into the bolt, once deep enough the extractor grabbed and backed out the bolt. Everything worked as advertised, which h...
Broken bolt removal
Would RecommendWorked to remove broken bolt. Take your time. The bits were as strong as other drill bits did not have an issue like some reviews.

Good for the job.
Would RecommendNeeded to drill grade 8 bolts. Titanium oxide wouldn't scratch them. These were perfect.

Worked easily!
Would RecommendSo I've used some of the other brands with the double sided bits... I really never had success, but tried 4 times on different items over the years. I came across a situation where I really couldn't afford to fail... This set worked on the first try. They are expensive BUT WORTH IT. The drill goes *in* (not reverse like the others), the extractor is in reverse, obviously. This set pulled out a stripped (allen head) solenoid set screw out of an old paintball marker that meant the world to me....
Life saver and headache reliever
Would RecommendTightened the bolt on my Cobalt's (vehicle) replacement exhaust VVT solenoid and broke the bolt head right off. To get the broken bolt out, I started with this product's drill bit first to get a hole going (smallest first of course, because you can always go larger but once its too large you can't go back). Then once I got a deep enough hole with the drill bit I switched to the smallest extraction (cone shaped) piece, went up to the second smallest extraction bit and out came my broken bolt. Thi...

Saved the day
Would RecommendI was doing a replacement of an oven igniter… but I stripped a screw trying to get access to the igniter … this kit worked perfectly. I was very worried it wasn’t going to work.
Fantastic!!!
Would RecommendI needed this for extracting coin-shaped weights about the diameter of a nickel where the Torx fitting was completely stripped out and lock tite added to the threads. I never thought I was going to remove this, let alone three of them. I applied penetrating oil and let sit for about six hours and began the process. I drilled the hole with the enclosed drill bit, banged in the extractor and began to apply pressure. The extractor teeth bit really good and the piece broke loose and came out very ea...

Great Set
Would RecommendGreat set but would purchase better drill bits to start the hole. Extracted a broken valve cover bolt with ease.
