Fan Blades Not Easy

Could barely push the fan blades into the grommets. Actually some of the ‘wood’ split and my hand is still sore from the extreme pressure required to put the fans into place.

Nice fan

Looks nice and is very quiet..pleased with the two fans I bought.

Poor lighting and air output

I bought 5 of these fans for my home and they look nice but just don’t move much air at all. The fans I replaced put out so much more air than these. They don’t put out a lot of light buy you can always add a lamp to a room. I keep checking them to make sure they’re on high and they are but high with 5is fan is like low with our old fans. If you just want a nice looking fan this one is for you, but if your looking for a fan you can feel when it’s on you’ll need to keep looking.

New Hunter Ceiling Fan

Great fan. I've installed these before and things have improved immensely. They advertise a "five minute installation"; I'd really like to see a demo of that. Regardless, the installation went great, and the fan works wonderfully. It is very quiet and works just like my others. Highly recommend this fan (and other Hunter's).

Hunter Waldon 5 minute

I like the fan but the lighting is absolutely terrible. It's so terrible I can't even see to get a jacket out of the closet.

But still a very nice, well engineered, high class fan. Instructions were well detailed and made the job pretty easy.

Fabulous Fan!

I bought two of these for den and master bedroom at a great price. They are quality, quiet and quick to install..... not 5 minutes but quick! Color combination of brushed nickel and choice of black blades was perfect for me!

Inexpensive Ceiling Fan

Having installed numerous ceiling fans, this is on the low end of the quality range. But if you need a fan for a house that you will live in for a relatively short period of years or for a rental property, you can't beat the price. The instructions are not as useful as they could be, especially since the mounting hardware is where the cost was saved in making this fan as inexpensive as possible.

Good fan, great price, install hiccups

Finished installed unit runs smooth and quiet in a good sized mbdrm, hense the overall "buy" recommendation. Also, looks good and moves the amounts of air you'd expect in all 3 speeds. Installed with a full function aftermarket remote that cost about $30 also from Lowes. Can’t believe all the complaints about the 5 minute fan claim. This refers to the simple snap on blades vs. screw on or bolt on, not the entire installation. Still the typical time to hang,wire and complete. As always with Hunter this a super quiet and beautiful fan. Highly recommend.

Great Fan!

These fans are beautiful in the onyx bengal bronze color. I originally bought 2 to replace worn out fans in my children's rooms but I just added another for my tv room. Soon I will replace all of our fans with these. The best part is that these things go up so fast. I've installed 10 or more fans of different brands and styles in my lifetime and these are by far the easiest. Beautiful, powerful fan!

This fan is beautiful, powerful and quiet! Purchased one for the master bedroom and loved it so much decided to replace two others in the house! Install was simple and quick. 30 minute fan

By far the most frustrating part was the rubber gromets popping out of the fan blade mounting holes. I have not seen others complain so maybe a defect? Beats me. Got it installed and put in my own LED lights instead of the provided ones (thus ensuring great lighting). It took 30 minutes, mainly fighting the fan blade rubber gromets. Wire Harness Faulty

Fan lasted about 14 months until all three bulbs blew out. Replaced the bulbs, wasn't the issue. Contacted Hunter Waldon directly and described the situation. Their diagnosis was a faulty wire harness and that particular harness was back ordered with a two month timeline. Reading further reviews on Hunter Waldon's site regarding this fan, this issue came up repeatedly in the reviews, with roughly about the same lifespan, 12-14 months. Hunter does not support this fan anymore

Purchased four Waldron fans in 2011. Need a new pull chain. Called Hunter and they told me I need a light switch housing. Unfortunately they do not sell the fan anymore or support it with replacement parts. Generic pull chains do not work with this fan. It takes 20 pulls to start if...any ideas?

Light kit is garbage

I love the way this fan looks. We bought 2 for our kitchen. After about a year the light kit blew in one. We bought a new fan since we cannot get a replacement light kit. One light in the new one continually goes on and off. The second fan's light kit blew this morning. Hubby is about to blow a gasket. Well I thought it was a good fan but

We just moved into a newly built house and bought two of these fans for the house. We had them installed in May and now there is an issue with the lighting kit on one of the fans. My son complained about about the lighting and I went into his room and the lights used to be white and now they are yellow. Ssrew Problem

Bought 3 fans. In ALL 3 the screws for the canopy were too large for the hole i the hanging bracket. Pain in the neck. Had to drill out the hole to get the screws to go in. Other than that, great, SILENT fans
