It's a great looking fan; however, it says "5 minute"on the box,....it's more like 45 minutes or more. But overall it's very stylish and I would buy this again for another part of my home.

Poor engineering

The fan itself is nice to look at and seems to operate as designed (so far) but my issue with it is that it could not be put together with the parts provided. There are 3 screws that secure the light fixture to the body of the fan and the pre-drilled holes are too small to accommodate the screws. At this point in the install, you already have wired the fan and have it hanging from the ceiling. Great Fan

Took quite a bit more then "5 Minutes" to replace an existing fan but went together very well and quick enough.

Very Pleased

I bought this ceiling fan for our home office in a new house. I love the stylish look of it, and it has been very reliable and moves air nicely. I would definitely purchase this one again.

Love this Fan

5 minutes? It took us an hour and I think it was as simplified a process as possible. That being said, it's a beautiful and quality product. I would buy it again should we need another fan and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a ceiling fan.

Great Fan

Needed a fan with a light, that could be operated from a wall switch. Other brand required use of remote, and did not work for me. This fan says install in 5 minutes. Maybe. For me, it took 10, but still a win for me. Highly recommend Hunter fans.

Nice quiet fan

My only complaint is the "5-minute install" featured in the box. It took me an hour and would have been longer but I was replacing a Hunter with another Hunter so the load bearing ceiling bracket was already in place. But once installed it is a very quiet and attractive fan! jB

Looks and performs beautifully

I have installed many fans over the past many years. Although this fan is not any more difficult to assemble and install and indeed attaching the blades is considerably easier, I take exception to the 5 minute claim. Simply unpacking the box and inventorying all the parts takes considerably longer than 5 minutes. The process to totally install is more like an hour. A Dream to install

My husband purchased the fan without me present, so when he brought it home, and I saw "5 minute fan" advertised on the box, I thought, I want to go look at what other choices there are, as I felt we did not get the "best" one as it relates to style and design. However, I did not go back to the store, and decided to just go with it as it was going in a guest room anyway. Not Really 5 Minutes

Great fan but there's no way this 5 minute fan can be assembled and fully installed in 5 minutes! It is easier overall compared to other fans but "5" minutes is a far stretch. Fan didn't require balancing which was great. I like it!

Wish the "high" speed was faster

This is a good looking fan and is working so far (was installed a few days ago). Main issue is that the "high" speed on this fan is about what I'd expect as a "medium" speed. I figured high speed was about the same across different brands, but apparently it's not. May be a little too slow for really hot days, but nothing I can really do about it now. Screwless blade design causes drooping

I have three of this fan all with a downrod for approximately two years. The blades are very easy to take on and off because the blade posts go through holes that have a kind of rubber washer in them. These rubber washers seem to harden (particularly the hole at the top of the blade) in hotter temperatures (78+), which can cause the washers to dislodge from the blade and/or the blades to droop. Because the blades have no screws, there isn't a way one can then tighten the screws to stop the droop...

Great fan!

I was looking for a fan that would work well and also be nicer to look at than most ceiling fans. This fan caught my eye immediately in the store because of the black blades (they are cherry wood grain on the flip side). The light fixture has a nice, smooth globe that doesn't blind you and doesn't look like it came from 1985. Fan took a little longer than "5 minutes" to install, but it was not difficult. After seeing it installed, I am planning to buy 3 more just like this for my new house!

The best value out there

We purchased 3 of these fans but when we went home, one of the boxes seemed to be missing a few pieces. We should've checked the box before we left but thought nothing of it. We returned the box to the store and did an even exchange.

Product was defective

After we spent hours putting the fan up, it looked great and worked for a few minutes then lights would go off. Once cooled then the lights would go on again for a few minutes and off. It was rather disappointing. We took it down and returned it.
