Very Nice Floor Outlet

Looks good!

Bought 2 units to for exercise room. They install easily and look good. On 1 unit, the door on the cover would not open and had to be exchanged for a new one.

Cover is easier broken initially.

The cover is tough to open initially and I hv to use a flat head to open it. Then, it broke a small piece at the cover and can’t return it since it will require to undo the installation

As advertised pics are accurate

I felt the actual outlet itself was sub par material, In our case this is not a every day use. The metal looks sheik and clean. the box is fine. The outlet itself has a little give and can angle slightly in addition to the mounting angle. Larger Box plugs probably wouldn't work. The connector for power was a little interesting but is a quick connect

Looks very nice and easy to install

Easy to install and looks very nice in satin nickel finish. I like the recessed plug feature.

Pain to install

The cover is nice and i do like that something can be plugged in and close the lid, but a square box? This is a floor going to usinf a hole saw to cut a hole that deep in a floor. Why not a 4" round box? Pain in the butt to install

Beautiful

Very sleek neat unit once installed, a little extra time for install due to mfg not installing screws in box, just dumped in loose,very time consuming to get started since side at angle, but once installed very pleased with look in room. Challenging but would purchase again and recommend to future buyers.

Tighter fit then a glove

Used then a old house remodel. Fit the need of client and was a great added reveal. Only issue is cover requires a flat object to open. Which makes it a tad difficult.

Well Engineered

Bought the kit about 5 years ago but with the stay-at-home regime, decided it was time to install. The kit is extremely well engineered. I would have given it 5 stars except the instructions could be a tad clearer. For instance, they say cut on the inside of the template line when it works better if you cut just a bit beyond the template line. The instructions could have a note telling the installer not the adjust the height until the wiring is complete. Super happy with outcome.

Looks good but hard to open

It wasn't difficult to install the box in hardwood floor, but the template opening is a little too small. You may have to shave a bit to get it to fit. Don't know if it a child-proof issue or not, but the cover is very hard to open without a screw-driver to pry it open. Shouldn't be an issue if the plugs are not changed frequently. I wouldn't recommend for carpet because even at lowest adjustment, it still sticks up a bit and might be a trip hazard on carpet.
