Ratings & Reviews for Hitachi 10-in 15-Amp Compound Miter Saw

Great Saw

Has all of the basic features needed for a Miter saw. Easy to set up and use right away.

Good Value

Easy to assemble and use. Great value for the $$. For DIY folks this is a good purchase.

great deal for price

I wanted a second miter saw and this was the one i picked. Light in weight light in price but heavy duty in performance.

Well Made Saw

The saw arrived in good shape and appears to be a quality product. Have used it once with good results. Cuts cleanly and has good power. I replaced the supplied 24 tooth blade with a 60 tooth and the cuts are much cleaner, with a minimum loss of power or force required to go through the material being cut. Only drawbacks are the instructions are a bit ambiguous and make some assumptions about the user. Also, if you are using a miter saw stand, the mounting holes will not line up as they are diff...

Good features

I liked the price. Well known name. Good features. Second purchase of a Hitachi product.

Good value

It cuts well and was a good value for the price I paid

Great Saw!

I purchased this mitre saw based on the online reviews and I can now add my own 5 star review! This saw replaces a Ryobi and I didn't realize how bad the old saw was. The Hitachi feels much more solid and the cut is amazing. Love the features. Love the saw.

This is a great saw

Light weight makes it very easy to move around. Currently using it to miter and fit 2"x6"x18' hemlock facia. The cuts are so accurate that the joints between the boards are nearly invisible.

1st time installing baseboards

I was fortunate enough to get it while it was on sale for a ridiculously low price, but after working with it over the weekend I would say it's a good deal even at it's regular price. It made quick work of the baseboards that we were doing as a part of a kitchen remodel. The half-dozen pre-defined angle stops are very convenient, but it also allowed me to quickly adjust to some odd-ball angles like 17.5 and 33.5 degrees with little effort. It had plenty of power for our small project, and feel...

outstanding value for the money.

This is my first mitre saw , I highly recommend this saw for diyers and contractors . I used this saw to cut through 2x4,2x2 ,4x4 with no problems. Light weight and easy to place in my truck. Great value and great brand name.

Superior performance

No problem with this Compound Miter Saw. A Lot of power, very well built. Very well packaged also.

Good Miter Saw

Appears well made. Some assembly required. Assembly instructions are not very comprehensive and illustrations are a bit on the small side. Also extensions are not included, rather they are optional accessories.

Very happy with product

I'm not a heavy user, but this miter saw is easy to use, and although it is relatively lightweight, the unit is robust and durable. Unless you want a laser, you can't beat this for a quality saw used on occasion. Only professionals who use the unit daily would need to spend any more money. I'm pleased enough that I will make my next purchase a Hitachi as well.

This saw is easy to use.

I have just started using my new saw. It is easy to transport. It cuts nicely., & is easy to change angles.

Absolute BEAST!!!

I love my Hitachi miter saw, this thing is a absolute workhorse with great value. The saw saw cuts through hardwood with no problem.

So Far so good.

Only had for a month. I'm a cabinet maker. I'll put it to the test.

Great product

Been searching and searching for a compound miter saw on the web for quite some time. Finally decided on this Hitachi after countless positive reviews. Not only does it deliver exceptional performance but is an excellent value too. Looking forward to purchasing more Hitachi products since this one exceeded my expectations.

Decent Product

Seems to be a good product. Does the job intended and the blade is easy to change with the tool provided. The instructions are not well written or well organized. After about 10 hours of use the return on raising the blade and other moving parts are sticking some due to sawdust and pine pitch. I did not see any instructions on lubrication, but I have not looked extensively in the manual which is difficult to follow.

A great product for carpentry work. Makes most cuts easy and accurate.

Great tool....Wish I had bought one many years earlier. Makes all cuts straight and accurate. Elimanates most chances off cuts being off or crooked.

have not been able to use it as of now

Well packaged easily assembled seems durable but I have not used it yet. Web site was difficult to navigate. Still not sure if I was registered.
