Ratings & Reviews for Hitachi 10-in 15-Amp Compound Miter Saw

Nice compact saw.

It is a nice light compact saw for my home use. Great for what I need it for.

Very nice saw

This saw is an excellent buy. It comes with a carbide blade.

This saw does the job I need

I have 2 of these saws. My main concern with any miter saw is, are the angle stops accurate. Both of these saws lock at their stops right on the proper angle settings.

does everything very well

Use this saw every day and am well pleased with its precision, power, and reliability. I recommend this product highly.

It's good, but could be better

Overall the saw is a good one, no real gripes except: Why didn't you make the dust connector fit a standard shop vac hose? I mean how hard could it have been?

Great product for the price

You cant beat the product you get for the price. It is very lightweight and easy to use.

Very Nice

This saw is really easy to use and seems very durable. I paid an awesome price for mine. If you get one, go ahead and get a stand for it too. It will make your life much easier. If I had on complaint, I would say I wish they had a different way of adjusting for the bevel cutting. Other than that; it's great.

Light weight

Needed for small projects and easy to tote around house. Dust bag not great.

Did not fit the table

The saw footprint in not square. It does not fit the table I bought with it Have to loose my day off that was my project day Unhappy

Easy to use for a new woodworker

I received the miter saw as a Christmas present from my daughter and son and law (so I could make their furniture for them). I was concerned being new to power saws. Put it together with little problem (except the dust bag...still can't figure it out). I took a deep breath and jumped in...it is so easy to use and now I want to use it for everything (even when I don't need the miter saw). I am extremely pleased and don't forsee any issues.

Great saw for the money!

When looking at miter saws I priced out a ton. I have used this saw a lot now, and think it would be nearly impossible to beat for the money. The next one I buy will be a slider as well but I will look at hitachi first!

It took me about an hour to get the saw setup to cut straight, had to remove the indexter and bend it to remove the play in the angle pointer.

I have a Dewalt miter saw at home, that is a much better saw. If you like good tools, look at Dewalt.

Reliable & accurate saw for the money

I purchased a C10FCE2 miter saw a few weeks ago. It has seen solid use since and has performed to expectations. I installed a 60 tooth count carbide blade and get clean finish cuts. The saw angles are accurate and the setup from the factory was very close, required only minor adjustments. I recommend doing test cutting to check settings before jumping into a project. Given that lasers are so cheap these days it surprises me that this model comes without. It wasn't a deal breaker for me and it re...

Great tool to have

I am a handyman and this tool comes in real handy.

Very user friendly!

I'm a novice DIYer who received this miter saw as a Christmas gift to make my life easier. I was a little intimidated at first use. But once I got the hang of it, it truly showed me the power and punch this saw had! I cut pieces with ease and speed I could never have imagined! Easy to assemble right out of the box, easy to handle and maneuver the bevel and change the table to cut angles. Very satisfied to have this in my workshop arsenal of tools.

Great Saw with ease of use

Good price, easy to use, great safety features , easy to handle. I simply love it!

Great tool

Bought this to work on a screened porch project; best investment I made in power tools in a while. Plenty of power, easy to setup and use. I bought a new blade to cut a lot of trim, but the supplied framing blade isn't bad either.

This product is great

Works great right out of the box, Will buy again if need be.

excellent value

Good ease of use, plenty of power for hard woods. I have no complaints with the tool, except that it was missing all of the accesorys .
