Great miter saw

Works as promised. Would get 5 stars if the dust collection bag worked better. Tends to not get a lot in the bag but the saw works great.

Gets the Job Done

Purchased this saw to do a Board and Batten around the interior of the house, precise cuts all my 45's lined up nicely. At the time of this post this saw was 109 bucks less expensive than the similar model at Harbor Freight and much much better quality.

Good for the price

Saw works well. The blade bolt did get stuck on me though so I got $300 DeWalt. Well you can tell the difference but if you're looking to do smaller cuts and don't want to spend a lot, this guy works.

Fragile casting

I purchased this saw at Lowe's less than a year ago and have used it for a few projects around the house. Until recently it was great. While using it a few days ago, the saw seized in the piece of wood and I heard a metal clank. When I looked at the saw, I realized that the torque of the saw had broken the saw deck where the right side fence is mounted and slung it a few feet away. first time with mitersaw

I got this saw to make cutting boards go a little fatser.Right out of the box one of the tools was missing.Insturctions very difficult to understand and try to match up with pictures in the manual.Manual said that saw was set at factory at 0 degrees and 45 degrees on the stops.I found that with the saw on 0 the saw was beveled about 5 degrees to the left.To make a 90 degree cut you had to set saw on 5 or little over to compensate for what the gauge stated.After several test cuts I have it set to...

Great out of the box saw

Initial setup is pretty straight forward. All looked good and alignments were good.

Dependable!

Purchased this saw a week ago and have used it all week for crown moulding and door casing and it holds a true angle and delivers flawless cuts. The blade supplied was put aside for a spare because of its lower end quality but for the price i did not exspect a high end blade. This saw is light weight and easy to set up and i would buy another one if i needed it.

Great saw

Great saw for the price. I love mine. I'm not a carpenter, but it meets my needs. Glad I chose it over the Dewalt that was twice as much.

It looked great until a piece of metal broke off.

I was using the saw to chop up big sticks. Suddenly a piece of the left bevel cutting guard snaped off. It is probably made of really cheap materials and I would not recommend this saw to anybody. :(

Pretty Good Saw, Priced Right

This saw seems like a pretty good saw, Though I won't be using it daily so I couldn't say how it would hold up. It seems to be good. The Instruction's were a little hard to understand. But I got it together. Used it and it did the job I bought it for. One would think a 10" saw would cut more than a 2x6 at 90 degrees But I guess not.. All in all I am pleased with it

great saw

This was my first miter saw I personally purchased. Growing up I used my dads 7-1/4" delta and this miter saw is a beast compared to that saw. So far it's cut through everything I've thrown at it with ease. No more motor bogging down in the middle of my cuts. Feels really well built, cuts are very accurate. Fairly light, I use mine with a portable work stand, and its easy to lift it onto the stand. would definitely buy again. Easily my favorite tool in my work shop.

Straight out of the Box

Bought on 11/30/16 on sale for $109.00. Great purchase for the price, used right away to build a dining room table. After taking it out out of the box and conducting a quick check of the blade and attaching handle, it cut like a dream! Very smooth cutting action and cuts were very accurate. I would definitely recommend for the weekend warrior!

I finally broke down and bought a miter saw!!!

Reasonably priced for a noob, check! 10 inch blade for cutting 5+ inch base trim, check! High fence for crown molding, check! Light weight check! Powerful, check! Smooth cuts straight out of the box with factory saw blade. Cuts through MDF trim like butter. I completely remodeled an entire house with a miter box and hand saw. But I finally decided to invest in one of these and I'm thrilled to death with it.

Good saw, bad directions

Overall it is a pretty good saw, my one complaint is with the directions. Is it so hard to find someone who can write basic English? The directions read like someone just entered Chinese directions into Google Translate. The pictures and diagrams are also small, and some of them are unclear as to what part of the saw is shown. For some of it, I just had to use the pictures on the box.

Have owned 3 other miter saws, this one is dead on, by far the best one i have owned.
