Easy Install

This aluminum mailbox post is nicely designed and easy to install. I used the existing 4x4 wood post to slide the unit on. There are two wood screws to secure it further. It looks sturdy and elegant. It will last a long time. I would suggest the manufacturer to add a newspaper holder above the support plate as an option.

This mailbox post seems study and well made. Installation was easy. (You will need a 4” x 4” x4’ post.

Bought this to replace a plastic post mailbox that looked very cheap and was beginning to discolor in the sun. I was able to use the existing 4x4 from the previous mailbox. I did have to cut a foot off the post but that was a non-issue. Easy to install and looks GREAT! Very happy with my new mailbox post!

Not satisfied with quality.

I had a Rubbermaid mailbox & post for 20 years. Decided to buy better looking/more expensive product as replacement. Product did not last six months. Installer did not put 4x4 through entire post cover & drill holes through 4x4 which might have made it more sturdy. Easy Install

Easy to install, liked that this was a steel post instead of the plastic ones. Looks very nice.

Stylish and rug

Purchased this to replace previous mailbox post. We really like the bronze color and best of all, it is metal, which withstands all sorts of weather. Highly recommend.

Good Replacement

Looks great!

This is perfect to replace a pressure treated lumber post that fell apart. Didn't need to remove the post from the ground. Just cut it off to size, slide this one over and attach. This particular one happens to replace a prior one that I hit with my truck and kind of mangled.

Sturdy and easy to install.

Very easy to install, and the instruction enclosed will enable anyone including one like who lacks the carpentry savvy to such work install it within couple of hours.

Excellent product - Easy installation

This mailbox post worked great. I set and plumbed a 4x4 post in cement one day earlier. This post slips over top and looks beautiful. Very sturdy. The only changed I made was that the hardware doesn’t include lag bolts to accommodate the 4x4 wood being as tall as the sleeve. I felt that it added strength, so I painted the heads of two 1/4 inch lags and screwed then into the wood. Piece of cake.

Disappointed

I like the way this mailbox post looked. I liked the color and it seemed to be sturdy. I got out the directions and checked to make sure all the parts were there. They were. Then I started on step 1, where you attach the shelf unit to the post. I got the long bolt, the large washer, the silver spacer, and the large hex-nut. Nice, clean update to my old 4x4 country mail box

This covered over a old half broken wood mail box pole to give it a very nice look quickly and inexpensively. Light weight system that will let us older DIYer do the job without digging and pouring cement - just use your power screwdriver and anyone can install this. It worked well to replace my annually slippery winter roads car hit mail box issue. The only thing better would be the USPS changing the required location of our private drive mail box location.

Sturdy metal post

Appears to be heavier then the standard aluminum. Hopefully this stands up to the plows and heavy snow.
