No shiny finish

This product does a good job of sealing concrete and it beads water nicely. I applied two coats to our driveway which has a broom finish to make winter snow/ice removal easier. I also applied two coats to our garage floor which has a power trowel finish. Definately well sealed. The appearance is indeed invisible - no shiny finish.

Water beads up and puddles off

This product absorbed into concrete, so I initially wondered if it would do any good. It has been several weeks and several rains since & I like how it has performed. Water beads up and puddles off.

Impressive results

After sealing my driveway with 2 coats of 8500 I performed the water drop test. Impressive results - water beaded right off.

Use a sprayer

Used to seal freshly pressure washed concrete drive and concrete patio. First tried to roll on with 9" paint roller --- too slow & sloppy. Quickly switched to pump sprayer. That was much faster and neater.

Easy to apply

Water based formula that is easy to apply and has an attractive natural look, wet or dry.

So far so good

The most important feature for me was the product cannot cause slippery conditions for safety reasons. So far so good! It dried quickly and did not change the appearance of the finish. It also started beading water after it dried and appears to be completely slip free.

Water does not penetrate or leak as before.

The Siloxa-Tek 8500 was applied with a brush. The first coat was absorbed almost immediately. And the second coat was absorbed more slowly, indicating that the material was penetrating our brick chimney. Water does not penetrate or leak as before.

Seals without a shine

Seems to be doing exactly what it says, sealing without a shine. The proof will come after the winter to see how it protects.

Beads water without being slippery

Used a backpack sprayer to apply and it went on flawlessly. Beads water without being slippery around a pool deck.

Easy to apply

The last time it rained it showed it was working. Easy to apply.

Worth the money

I used the Siloxa-Tek 8500 on my concrete patio floor and the water now beads up after it rains rather than soaking into the concrete. This product was expensive, but worth the money.

Very pleased with Siloxa-Tek 8500

Easy to apply, invisible when dry, and extremely hydrophobic. Water beads up like mercury and rolls right off.

Easy to Use

Just applied this product this past week, and it went on extremely easy. Initially tried to roll it on using a paint roller and that didn't work at all, so switched to a pump sprayer and it went on fast and easy. After drying for a couple of days water beaded up like I've never seen before. Only time will tell if it is durable. It is a little pricey, but if it extends the life of my driveway it is a good investment.

Delivered against expectations

The product arrived promptly and was well packed. The instructions were clear. The application process was easy to understand. I saved a lot of money handling this DIY project vs contracting it out.

Works well

No visible difference

No visible difference on our poured concrete patio but a huge difference with the water repellency. Water beads up and is now easy to blow off with a leaf blower. Its actually a fun thing to do, the kids love seeing it in action.

Excellent sealant abilities

No smell. Easy clean up. After one coat it was sealing very well. Second coat was beading over first coat. Look forward to seeing the longevity of this product. Very pleased at this time.
