Would RecommendWas looking for the right product to use after pressure washing long driveway, sidewalk and brick patio. I have to say I was pretty blown away after the first rain to see the water sitting on top of the brick paito in large beads. Truly is waterproof. Anxious to see what it look like in a year. Figuring out the wet-on-wet application time was easy then worked in small areas. Most challenging part was not the product but working around the rain and heat predictions.Highly recommend.

100% water repellent
Would RecommendI powerwashed our driveway and the brick front patio. Read a lot about this product before purchase. Applied it in hopes of not having such a moisture issue on the surface of especially shaded areas. Love seeing the beads of water sitting on top of the surface. So far so good!

Would RecommendJust roller applied the Siloxa 8500 coating to my concrete driveway and sidewalk in attempt to avoid annual power washing to remove black staining.Estimated coverage was right on- Lou was very helpful on application tips. While there was a slight darkening of our concrete ( see pic of our treated sidewalk to neighbors, (who power washed at same time we did prior to applying the 8500), it’s not an issue for us if we can avoid the annual cleaning.Now we wait to see how well it protects!! 🤞

Would RecommendOnce I put 2 coats down and fully cure, it does what says. I was able to paint over ir and cannot see one water stain.

Waterproof
I would like to see longer visual results, meaning rain water beading the beading effects do not last long other than that it’s a good product, also I think it needs to be much thicker so when your applying on a vertical surface it stays longer and fights evaporation better during the application stage.

Easy to use
Would RecommendI was actually in the garage prepping to apply the Ghostshield when this email came. At this point there no way to review the effectiveness of the product, only that the application is not difficult. When I was perusing the website before selecting a product, I could have sworn that I read to mix the concentrate with distilled water. However, on the label on the bottle it just says “water”, so I just used regular tap water. Sure hope that doesn’t cause problems down the road.

Great product if prepared properly
Would RecommendWorks well as advertised, if you do the prep work. A lot of pressure washing, etching, more pressure washing let everything dry, wait for the proper temperature and rain free days. Easy to apply and coverage is as stated on product label. Does dry and it sheds the water after a few days. Not a quick one and done local hardware product, but if you want to invest the time and money will give you great results. Time will tell if it will hold up as stated.
