Follow directions and it was easy to set up and works perfect.

Did not work out of the box & cannot return!

After 3 calls with the Generac service hotline to get this thing to work, and after running around trying to find & replace a new sparkplug (from their direction) we are now in the process of getting this 200lb machine into an authorized service center to diagnose why this brand new machine out of the box will not start. I have never been more disappointed with a product in my life. I feel so foolish for spending so much money on this thing. We are still weeks away from getting a working gene...

Don't use a Lowes credit card. APR is 31.99%

Generator will not start. I purchased it because my Father-In-Law is living with us and uses Oxygen and the large winter storm was heading our way. Luckly our power didn't go out. Beyond that, I received my Lowes credit card (applied at purchase). Very surprised with the 31.99% APR, shame on Lowes! That's disgusting. I immediately paid the entire balance. 31.99%!!!! Not in my lifetime.

Fuel leaking from filter

Unfortunately, we purchased this on January 28 due to our generator dying during the severe weather. Upon opening the box and assembling this unit, everything seemed to be going just fine. Back up security

Like the electric start and the various socket types which allows you to run different devices. Also like the handle it makes it easy to maneuver. The small print instructions made it a bit difficult to read and were incomplete...you need to read the placard on the generator for start instructions.

Same Gas leaking issue

I bought this last night, put it together this morning, added the oil, fueled it up, started per the instruction ran great, went to plug in my extension cord and noticed it was pouring gas everywhere. I turned it off drained the carb took it apart and everything looked fine. Reassembled it and it is running fine. After 8hrs it is leaking oil from somewhere on top of the block under the fuel tank. Denied Return Despite Kentucky State of Emergency

I purchased an unopened generator on 01/23 and attempted to return it. The store manager refused the refund, stating that more than 48 hours had passed. However, on that same date, the state of Kentucky was under an declared State of Emergency due to a winter storm, making travel unsafe and strongly discouraged. I feel safe when we have bad weather. The ice and snow take out the electricity so I just start the generator and I have power and coffee. You can not get any better than that. I wish my dad had one in 1957 we did with out electricity for two weeks.

Great Deal - Runs Strong on Propane or Gas

For the wattage and price, this is a nice deal!! Great quality, easy to assemble. Comes with a free cable and propane hose. Only issue, the instructions for propane starting is not straight forward... The book says one thing, the Quick Start sticker on the generator says another. If you're using propane to start, full choke 100% (to the left) for 2 slow pulls or one 4 sec electric start. Then reduce choke down to 25% and pull hard or electric start, and when it catches, choke off and she goes!! ...
