Great Refrigerator

This is a really great fridge. It has a lot of space, lots of compartments and shelves and works like a dream. The only downside is that sometimes when you close the bottom freezer, the light shuts off without the freezer apparently being completely closed. Yes there is an alarm that will eventually go off, but if you’ve already left the room, you aren’t going to hear it. I’ve had to throw away food once due to this. Otherwise, works well.

So far so good. Few minor issues to be taken care of, such as door(s) alignment. the layout of shelves is very good.

Please redesign FREEZER DRAWER!!

After waiting two months for this beautiful refrigerator, We ended up refusing delivery after seeing the freezer drawer would not close. Operation of the drawer was wobbly as plastic teeth in cog wheels did not align properly. Went to a big box store to compare other manufacturers refrigerators.they are made much sturdier with metal rails. Will probably stick with GE Profile as I like the interior layout of refrigerator section with better customization of layout. Please have engineers redesign...

Lots of compartments on the door.

I don’t like the outlet for the water that I have to use both hands just to fill a glass of water. Freezer too small for me.

Horrible sickening oder coming from and inside.

Profile great look. Nothing but issues. Used 1.5 years. 2 new ice makers, new compressor & fan. New fill tube for ice maker. Issues started within first year. Ice on top of freezer door. Gasket

Broken within 3 weeks

Freezer door broke within 3 weeks after waiting 5 months for the delivery.

Very nice product

I never had a counter depth fridge before and was skeptical. However, it looks much better and holds plenty of food. I have no problem with having to search for things that have gotten pushed to the back and the door compartments are roomy and deep.

Don’t like the water dispenser. Not convenient 🍍

Poort quality. Failed after 24 hours.

Bought at local appliance retailer. The refrig failed after 24 hours. Ruined all our frozen food. Retailer replaced with the same model. We were without a refrig for 4 days. I paid a premium for GE, but unit failed out of the box. Failed unit dripped light green oil on my floor from kitchen to front door. A large disappointment.

Great lighting & space, water dispenser not great

Bought this as a replacement for a much-loved Amana fridge. I love the beautiful look of this French door fridge. I did not want an icemaker in the door because it takes away too much interior refrigerator space, but did want a water dispenser inside the refrigerator just like our previous Amana. Broken freezer door with 3 weeks

First fridge we received had a dent in the door. We then had to wait 3 months for another. When we first received the fridge we noticed the freezer door had a little difficulty shutting. We assumed it was an adjustment period because it was brand new and had heard the seals needed time to adjust. 3 weeks in and we realize the freezer door was completely unable to close! 2 days of not being able to close the door causes everything to thaw and spoil. Overall great product

We are remodeling our current kitchen and we purchased this refrigerator and I absolutely love it! I love that there is plenty of space for everything that I need to store and that the space is flexible.

Lives up to its good reviews!

We swapped out our four-year old model of this fridge for a replacement because of faulty lighting that couldn't be fixed. Otherwise - and we mean this - it's a great appliance; we are especially happy with its large capacity, consistency, and dependability. Two small cautions: Anything that touches the back of the upper/fridge tends to freeze, and the ice in the back of the ice bin tends to stick together in a block if you don't immediately move the new pieces around.

Counter-sized fridge

The refrigerator is sleek, has good size, and the price was very reasonable. Installation (by representatives) took about 15 minutes, and it’s great.

freezer draw does not close

The bottom freezer draw does not close properly. I am waiting for service to see if it can be fixed or I will get another new refrigerator.

Great unit—apartment perfect!

I’ve had this unit since 2009! It’s excellent. Extremely reliable. Now needs new gasket on freezer door but working as it is. I’ll replace exactly when it quits!

This is our second GE Profile, and we love as much as our first one. Ours is counter depth model, which allows us to see every item in the refrigerator. When you close any of the doors, you feel the quality and craftsman. LED lighting is fantastic, and with the ice maker in the lower freezer you always have plenty of room in the refrigerator section. GE Engineering has concepted designed refrigerator.
