All The Bells and whistles

I just installed my new microwave which is basically the same size as the last GE Microwave I had for 11 years. It was an easy installation but I sure wish they would try to stay consistent with the mounting plate and holes. Nice specs and easy to follow instructions.

GE profile microwave

I love this microwave...I like how I can sync the clocks on the GE profile double gas oven and microwave and how the light and fan come on the microwave when you turn on the cook top also, I like the steam clean feature haven't use it yet though and I really like how then vent comes out.

Very Quiet

Love how quiet the new microwave operates as well as the new features like dialing the time. So much easier to use and cleaning is simple with the 'steam' function. It's a nice upgrade from our old GE Profile microwave.

Good microwave, but better service!

If I was to rate my Profile microwave, it would be three stars. It replaced our 17yr old Profile microwave. Everyone in the family said the new one feels cheaper. It's harder to press buttons, the dial feels cheap, there's slop in the door hinge. The older one felt sturdier and higher quality. It cooks great. It operates the way you would expect the appliance to operate. It arrived with some damage. The box was 8n perfect shape, but the cover was buckled in the corners. GE service offered ...

All of my appliances, except dishwasher, are GE. I have always liked them, good quality and workmanship. Nice design!

Excellent design!

My old microwave died and I splurged a bit on this upgrade. It was 100% worth it! The extendable exhaust is genius and works really well. The dial setting is easy to use. It’s so quiet that sometimes I have to double check to make sure it’s working. It heats evenly. Highly recommended!

Great Fit, Powerful, Easy to Use

Fit perfectly under my cabinets, matches my other stainless steel appliances (even non-GE ones), powerful 4-speed vent fan with large pull-out vent expansion, and easy to use, flexible controls. Best I've had. Love it!

Love the Slide Out Vent

I purchased primarily for GE's quality but also for the slide out vent. Tired of previous microwaves getting soaked with condensation from using range front burners. This slide out vent is great. Absolutely zero condensation gets to the microwave controls. The slide adds about 1 inch height to the unit but it does not get in the way. Love the Pull Out Vent

Based on past GE experience, I purchased this microwave primarily for GE's quality but also for the slide out vent. I was tired of my old microwaves getting soaked in condensation from using the range front burners. This slide out vent is fantastic!!! Absolutely zero condensation gets to the microwave controls. We replaced a 5-year-old high-end Frigidaire which failed (lost all power). We like the extended vent option on the GE model. We had a GE profile in our old home and loved it. Unfortunately, it was not an option on our new home.

Nice microwave

Works great! Heats up dishes. Love that you can turn off the turn table if you had an item too big. Not crazy about the round knob and only heat in 15 second increment.

Great Value

We have had many over the stove microwaves and this one is really good... once you get used to it, it is very easy to use and it works great.

What was hoped for

Appliance Arrived on time and it was installed relatively easily, except for a need to work around previous builders mistakes. But our situation is unique in this respect and I believe under normal circumstances the installation of this unit will be very straightforward

Great features I have not seen before.

I was looking for a MW with good light and ventilation. Twin LED lights illuminate the entire cook top. The slide out front shelf catches cooking vapors and smoke. The two return vents at rage rear angle to catch the vapors. " Thanks to the extended vent, the microwave capture rate is double the rate of typical over-the-range models." 4 speed fan has good volume when the shelf is extended. I like the knob dial to set cook time, timer and such.

Great microwave, great exhaust fan

Looks really good and I love that you can extend the fan so it will catch more fumes. Installation was straight forward.
