Great cooktop if only electric is available. Great results easy cleanup

Love it!!!

We have always used GE products and never had issues other than using them to the point of wearing them out. I love the induction flat cooktop. Heats water to boiling in less than 3 minutes. After some adjustment on my part to the instant heat and how quickly it cooks, I love using it.

Great product

We love our new refrigerator. However the ice dispenser jams occasionally. It would also be more convenient if the lower full drawer was 2 half width drawer which would allow access by opening 1 drawer rather than both.

Great Stove, but Noisy

It’s a nice stove, however the noises it makes at higher temperatures  is unpleasant. It hurts my ears. 

Easy controls

I like the ease in using the cook top. The safety of flat controls and cooling of burners when turned off.

Very pleased

We’ve cooked on natural gas and propane for some 35 years and were persuaded by reviews and family that an induction cooktop was the way to go.. they were right-fast heating, great heat output, easy to use controls, and good looking. We already owned cookware that was compatible-stainless, steel, cast iron. All working well. We are very satisfied.

Induction cooking

It heats up really quick! Some say it’s quicker than gas, I wouldn’t know, never had a gas stove. It will require you to replace your aluminum pots and pans. I went with Copper Chef and Hex Clad nonstick.

Sleek and efficient

This is our fisrt induction counter top and we are very happy for having taken the step to upgrade from a conventional countertop. Design is very sleek and a total game changer. Heating is absolutely faster and far more efficient. I would have given it 5 stars except it needs a little more visual guides for both the induction coils and the digital controls. The digital controls take a while to get used to, specially figuring out which one controls which coil. Not necessarily intuitive.

Nice clean simple look, responsive

I had another induction stovetop before, which had more power, bells and whistles. however it died after 13 yrs of light use. That company no longer makes that unit. This one does not heat my liquids as quickly, however still much quicker than radiant electric or gas cooktop. Also it is more sensitive as to size of pan, whereas my older pan would adjust to smaller pans, even on a larger pad, so I am limited if I have to cook with 4 small pots (I cook for 2). Have never owned an induction stove before and have been pleasantly surprisedwith this purchase. Rapid heating and cooling, easy to learn it's nuioances, and clean up has been easy. We were looking for dependability as a first priority, and we also had a strong preference for American made! Thank you

Fast, even heat, when you can get a pan to work

It’s much better than electric, but it’s more sensitive to the type and size of pan surface. We are slowly learning how to work with it. It’s worth it. The key word is patience.

Have been waiting to have the chance to upgrade to a GE Induction cook top. We just had it installed & are arm wrestling to see who gets to cook on it first ! The overall control in your cooking is like no other. Will Never have an electric top ever gain.

Trial and error

The cooktop is too smart for its own good. Despite owning the correct pans, the burners don’t always recognize them. I have had to buy more pans in order to use all the burners. Once the “correct” sized pan is used, the cooktop works as it should and it is easy to clean.

Have had induction cook top for the last 17 years and love the way it cooks. Like the look of the new glass. Cleans easy and doesn't show scratches and wipe marks.

Best way to cook!

We love our new induction cooktop! It looks sleek, cooks fast and evenly heats in every pan. The low temperature feature is excellent and keeps our food warm without cooking it longer. Also, there was no need to plumb in an instant hot water faucet at our induction cooktop because the water boils instantly! Even at high altitude! Another great feature is that the surface cleans beautifully!
