Would RecommendI waited so long to purchase the induction cooktop and wish I didn’t. What a great investment. It’s as close to cooking on a gas stove. Temp raises and lowers without having to remove from the burner. Don’t wait like I did.

Very Good Value for Induction Cooktop
Would RecommendWe had been using induction countertop appliances. We new when our new kitchen was completed that we would upgrade our radiant electric cooktop with the induction cooktop from GE Profile. Works great. Easy to keep clean. It does get very hot, quickly on High setting. We just moderated the cook settings. I already had many Stainless Steel pans , so transitioning was easy.

Quick to heat, easy to clean
Would RecommendI can get tea water faster than the microwave! So nice not to have knobs to clean around. The one drawback is that you can’t turn around to do something else. Your food needs to be prepared ahead and ready to go cause it cooks quickly. I’m sure I will get used to where it should be set to cook but for now…have everything ready.

It’s been in my home since September 1, but after five installers and one electrician. No one has been able to get it to turn on or beep. It looks good though, there is that!

Glass scratches too easily.
Would Not RecommendWe are highly satisfied with everything about our Profile Induction cooktop, except with how easily the glass scratches. We've used it less than a month, not every day, have been careful not to move cookware across the glass, and keep it covered when not in use; but it still has numerous scratches. At this rate, in 6 months, this will not be a cooktop I'll be proud to have on display in my kitchen. So dismaying, because it has performed perfectly in every other way.
