Babysit the strands

Bought 2 strands. First steand i put up right away worked as advertised no issues. Few weeks later put the 2nd up on my back deck. Some of the bulbs didnt light at all. Called customer service to see if theyd send some replacement bulbs. The rep told me I’d have to send the strand in for repair. Flash forward to now middle of January and the 1st strand i put up is starting to act up. Stopped/started working randomly

We decided to replace our lights this year with all new led lights. We read about all of them for about an hour and a half standing in lowes and decided on these. I read lots of reviews that said some strands stopped working after a few weeks. I decided to try them anyways. I liked that they could be either white or color with lots of different options. The worst Christmas lights ever!

They would not sync when linked together. Lots of bulbs went bad the first week and had one strand completely not work. Lowes would not refund our money even with receipt.

What a waste of money

Bought 6 strings that do not sync, 2 strands stopped working completely. Lowes will not accept returns after Dec 26th. I am out $240 and do not want to spend more for postage to send to GE to try fix a product that was poorly engineered and defective. Lowes should help they loyal customers that were burned by this defective product.

Waste of money

I purchased 4 strands hoping to leave up year round. Almost impossible to sync. 3rd week 1 strand went out. By week 6 none of them will work. I replaced fuses and batteries nothing worked. Would like to have my 200.00 back. So disappointed.

Do not buy these lights!

Variety of settings!

When I removed them from the box Some of my 4 sets were missing covers on lights. We only got to use 3 sets of the purchase, as we robbed from one set to complete the others. Saved the others hoping to be able to get covers for next year. When changing the function, they will occasionally glitch. We learned unplugging resets them. Overall, a good purchase I recommend they put some replacement covers in the box as they apparently can fall off.

Stopped working pretty quickly

I purchased 9 sets for my house. One set does not turn on at all. Two sets only half of the strand work. Two sets have colors that do not match with the other colors. I contacted the company and they are requesting a bunch of numbers and making this as difficult as possible for warranty claim. Probably will have to end up purchasing new lights for next year because i do not have confidence this company will stand behind their product. Will definitely not be buying any more GE lights.

Customer Service Terrible

These lights are absolute garbage. They worked for one day. I spent $80 on two sets. When contacting customer service it was up to ME to pay to ship the lights in for repair. They have a 4-6 week return time. Basically we had no lights for Christmas and these are going in the trash.

GE, are you serious?!

I bought 2 strands, brand new this year. From the start these lights had issues. I went against the other reviews and decided to try them anyway. They are consistently out of sync, even within a single strand. If they aren't out or sync, then there are several that don't light up at all. On several occasions the 2nd strand would go out all together. I'm pretty shocked GE would put their name on this. I'm in the market for some appliances and the lack of quality control just made it pretty easy ...

Stopped working

Have 3 strands around a 42 foot camper that is parked. 2 strands went out, unplugged and checked fuses and nothing. Can not get them to come back on.

I just bought these right before thanksgiving and already aren’t working. didn’t even make a whole holiday season for 5 weeks

terrible choice

Spent well over 300 bucks for multiple light sets Difficult to sync especially over any distance 4 strands have failed so far Looked at controller box appears these are not seales very well for being outdoor strands Stay away and save yourselves the headache and money Should of known when reading the warranty and does not warranty after a year These lights would probably fail after sitting on a shelf for a year

What a disappointment!

I wish I had read the before I bought these lights. I loved the idea of LED lights that I could change colors and functions. The problem is they do not work. I invested $240 for 6 strings. I planned to sync 5 strings along the roofline of my house. It took hours playing with the remote to get all 5 strings synced. The lights aren’t worth buying I had 3 sets go out within a half hour . Bought new this year used very little , lasted 2 weeks . GE wants you to pay to ship them to them . Won’t buy again I wouldn’t even give one star for this item

Constant issues

We bought $300 worth of these lights for our home. Two of the boxes didn't work immediately and took my husband going bulb by bulb to try and get them to work as we bought out the stock of our local store. From day one we had issues with random bulbs not working or not syncing. Last night we had over 40 bulbs that just did not come on. GE should do better. This is unreasonable for the amount of money we paid for these lights.
