$200 wasted.

We purchased these lights thinking they would last a while because they were GE and cost a little more. Wrong, they lasted a week before they stopped working. 4 strands at $50 each. They would not sync with the other strands, out of the box some lights were different colors than the others. Half the strand would go out then come back on. Awful, save your time and money

Save yourself the time and money on these lights and buy something else! We hooked up four strings of lights for the outside of our home and the lights constantly come out of sync and within ONE WEEK of turning them on 8 bulbs are no longer working and two are staying red or blinking. When I called GEs customer service they told me the lights will come out of sync and that is normal?! And that I can buy replacement bulbs online. Mind you I just bought these three weeks ago. Terrible product...

Complete junk

Don't purchase these lights. I bought two sets and within a week I have had five bulbs go out. I called the GE customer service on the box and was told to ship it nack at my cost. Stay away

Worked for One Season

I purchased 4 strands of these lights last year. They never synced correctly and when I pulled them out of storage this year none of them worked. I emailed the company as is recommended in a number of bad reviews with no response.

Garbage

Garbage. Total garbage. Bought 2 sets and 5 bulbs burnt out within 3 days. They only come with 2 spare bulbs each set. Do not buy.

WONT SYNCHRONIZE

I recently purchased 6 sets of the: GE Color Effects 50-count 32.6-ft multi-function Color Changing LED Plug-In Christmas String Lights (model #73007LO) from Lowes. I only ended up using 4 of the sets to decorate the front of my house. I CAN NOT get these 4 sets to communicate with each other to synchronize a color scheme. Major issues with syncing

I so wish I would have read the reviews before ordering these lights!! I trusted the GE name and figured they would be good quality. My main issue is syncing multi strands. What I find so ridiculous is even if you have lights plugged in together it don't matter they can all be different functions and its very very frustrating trying to get them on the same color's. Great multi function lights while they worked. Purchased three strings and they lasted three seasons. Typically one lamp not seated in socket would lead to half the string out and that led to checking for that ONE lamp. However they were bright, colorful and the various functions meant you could change the look,

Pick a different bulb set.

The lights just flatly don't work correctly. There is always a bulb the wrong color or dark at random. They don't burn out, they just don't shine on random settings.

an expensive waste of time

Bought 5 boxes of these in 2021 @ about $50 per box. Had them installed on my home by a contractor. They would not sync at all, no matter what i did. All 5 sets were strung end to end. The only thing that i could do was try to get them to all be one color.... fast forward to this year, only 2 strands turn on. Complete waste of money.

Cannot get them to sync

We bought 5 strands of these lights and we cannot get them to sync. Our house looks pitiful. Do not buy these if you are planning on using more than one strand. This was a very expensive flop!

Infuriating!

I splurged on these lights to the tune of $300 thinking it would be worth it to accentuate my new home. After climbing 20+ feet and carefully stringing them, the issues others have reported here quickly became evident. These suck!

The lights they sent me had broken bulbs. The replacement bulbs in the pack did not fit. I had to harvest bulbs from a brand new strand of lights and spend hours on the roof replacing bulbs that didn’t come on and bulbs that didn’t change color.

junk save your money

bought 5 boxes today and nothing will sync like the say every single one does it own thing at 50 bucks a box they should be worth it but they are not have lights that i have used for the last five years that work better then this junk

Don’t buy these. Only made it one year

This was a waste of money for the price. Bought 5 strains. Nevered would all work together. Went to start them up and 4 out of 5 strains don’t work. So I pulled out the old ones led from 2 years ago they work. But not these expensive GE multi light. Save your money don’t buy them. Unless you’re rich and can afford new every year they were cool. But I will not buy more ever

Great lights that will eventually quit on you

The lights are great until they don’t work anymore. I’ve bought about 10 packages for my entire house and at least 6 of them had went out. I love the light setting and the display, however these are really expensive and should last more than a month or a year
