Save yourself and buy a different lights

We purchased 3 sets of these lights. We super excited. Worked excellent for month and a half 2019. When we put them back up 2020 after Thanksgiving we have had nothing but a hassle with all of them. We have used the tester to check bulbs one by one as the entire 50 sets goes out at the same time boy just one bulb. Checked fuses all good. Oout of 3 sets we now have one what is still qorking two are completely done. Now since we purched them last year we can not return them but sinve they were mad...

Not Worth It

Put them on the house the day after Thanksgiving, slightly annoyed by the uneven patterns, but ok. By December 18th, less than a month of nightly use...they stopped working all together!! So now the house looks odd, lights everywhere but over the garage, and all lights are sold out so I can't replace. I doubt Lowes will even let me return them!!

2 out of 5 strings wont turn on after a week!

I bought 5 strings, ran them around the whole house and used clips for each light. one week later one strand wont turn on at all and another flickers for a second then shuts off. I replaced fuses, didnt work. I called GE support to be told to choose one random light in the strand and replace it, that ticked me off a little , so I did it and guess what??? it didnt work!! Then I was told to pay to send it back, so I ended that convo. Also cannot get the chasing option to work or its just not the c...

Not worth the price

These lights were presented as state of the art, with remote and a multitude of color patterns. I installed six strings (on separate connections) on my fence. Already two strongs have stopped working, and every attempt to fix them failed. They are also very difficult to program in sync. If one bulb goes out, they all go out.

These are garbage!

The 3rd set I have returned to Lowe’s for doing the same thing. Work fine for a few days then become dim. Very frustrating to have to take them down for the 4th time. I’m done with these especially at $30!

Absolute Junk

Bought them for Christmas and put them up, they lasted one week and they went completely dark. I replaced the fuses, nothing. My other set has one or two random red bulbs that stay red while the other bulbs do their thing. I'm worried they will be next!! I was hesitant to buy them because of the negative comments, but I thought because of the GE name they would be ok, well now I know never buy any more GE Lights. Very disappointed!!!

Terrible Product. Time Wasted. Christmas Ruined.

I bought these on Nov 23rd and hung them up that following weekend. We put these on the top trim of our porch and it definitely took at least an hour or more to hang, ladder and all. We plugged them in to find one light bulb did not change color correctly like the others. It was stuck on red for most of the settings so that completely limited the whole item of changing them. They do work but the lights do not alternate colors you have green next to green and then you have four yellows in a row and then maybe a red. The coloring on the lights is not well spread out nor any kind of pattern. we put up two strings next to one another and we still can't get them synchronized.

worst lights I have every bought.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I bought 5 sets of these llights in Dec 2019 and only used 3 sets. All 3 sets stopped working before the holiday season was over. This year I put up the other 2 sets. They have been up 2 weeks and wont you know it 1 set has stopped working already. I cannot beleive what a horrible product these have turned out to be.

Don't waste your money like I did!

Bought several sets 2 weeks back. The various strands go out of sync but playing with remote you can get them back in order. 1 strand went out after 5 days of use and the remaining 2 are now both out. Fuses on the strands are fine yet non of the lights function any longer. Complete waste of time and money.

Nice lights when working.

Nice lights when working. Lights don’t sync anymore and some bulbs just don’t blink at all. Had them for two weeks and taking them down to return them. Awful purchase

Ok lights

For the price it is not worth the purchase. The various color features are great but if one of the bulbs becomes loose the who strand does not light up. I had to check all bulbs after lights hung since 3 of my 6 strands did not light up even after I tested prior to hanging.

Poor Quality

The lights work fine when you test inside before you hang them up but after that they will not sync and take on their own pattern. Sadly, they are up now and we hate to take them down until after a Christmas. We purchased 9 sets!!!! That’s a lot of money to not work as promised! Angry! Want my money back!

Avoid these lights

I bought 5 sets of these lights and after putting them up found they are almost impossible to get synched together. i was very frustrated with this because they were not cheap by any means. Well to add icing on the cake, 4 of the 5 strands have now completely stopped working after having them up for a week. These lights are complete waste of money and now I'm stuck with a bunch of lights that don't work. Will never purchase GE lights again.

WORST LIGHTS

Don't even bother buying these. I bought 6 strands and they lasted 15 days before 3 stopped working. While 1 remote can control all strands (if in range) good luck getting all strands to change to the same color/function. Very frustrating strand of bulbs. So much fun putting up and taking down lights in 15 days... Not! Thank you GE for making such crappy Christmas lights

Bad Christmas lights

Bought 8 strings of these lights, put up 4 of them, that is 200 of these lights, and 4 for back ups. Could not get all 4 to sync up, tried fade, twinkle, flash, and chasing, would not sync up. GE Color Effects

After purchasing 9 strings of these lights, 2 of them did not light at all. I spent 3.5 hours putting the other 7 on my house. 4 days later, I had multiple lights burned out. LEDs ate supposed to last for a ridiculous amount of time. I ended up finding some other lights to use this year, and spent another 2.5 hours replacing these and returning them to the store. GE used to be a good quality light, but I will hesitate before purchasing that brand again.

These are junk!

Do not waste your money! They go out within in 1 month! This is the second year a bought them Hopi g it was a fluke last year.... nope they are just plain junk!!
