Just wasted all afternoon puttintg these on my house! First stran good second one didn’t work, took them Down tested next Stran worked. Put next strand up plugged in now it does not work. I bought 8 boxes - they are going back to the store. Whats bad is I drive to 4 lowes and waited for them to be unloaded off the truck. I am frustrated beyond measure.

Purchased Nov 2021

Terrible quality, purchased 6 sets and right of the box: 1-set would not turn on 4-ate least have random bulbs that will do whatever they want (if you set them to blue they will be green, set them to green and they'll be purple, set them for effects and will be off) Planning on returning this weekend, it is a shame because they are very nice colors/effects, when they work.

Electric Snake Oil........

I can't remember seeing so many bad reviews of a single Bad Product on-line. Yes me too, I was also taken by these under designed and over priced pieces of "Crap". What was GE thinking? Why did Lowes think it was a good idea to keep selling them? I purchased my 3 Sets early in 2018 when they first came out, and Not alot of people had issues Yet or had I looked at any reviews at that time......

Horrible lights

I bought several strands last year and they worked. They were carefully stored and we just took them out this year and they did not work. I checked the bulbs for loose or burnt ones and everything was fine including the fuses. After one year bulbs this high end and expensive should have no problems. Expensive to only last 1 week

The lights were great the first night but stopped working after just one week of use. Some bulbs were dim and others completely went out. Very disappointed!

Avoid these lights, seriously!

I’m not sure how or why Lowe’s still justifies selling these lights every year. But do yourself a favor and steer clear of them. I like many others experienced nothing but headaches with these lights, and wasted hundreds of dollars decorating my home with these. So what are the issues with these lights exactly. Crap and should stop selling!

Bought two boxes, both sets have issues. There are A couple of bulbs on each strand that decide to do whatever they want to do. Whether it’s to twinkle or stay green when all The rest of the lights are blue. Lol Don’t buy they really do suck, look at the rest of the reviews.

Was hopeful... was let down

Love the idea of these lights and the many possibilities to light up our house according to the holiday. However, I have now had two units that didn't last. The first lasted nearly a year, but started to malfunction before it gave up. The control box isn't made to be repaired. When I checked it out, saw rust and corroding inside the supposedly water-tight box. When I got the second, I sealed the seams of the control box to prevent water intrusion. Our lights did not even last through the month of December. The store would not take them back, the warranty was useless.

Didn't even last a month

For a while, these lights operate as advertised, even though the description is a bit misleading. Yes, you can plug these lights into each other, but that has nothing to do with the syncing of the lights themselves. Each string follows the commands from its own control module, they do not actually sync with each other. I bought four strands and used three. One of the strands stopped working after the first time it rained. They were $40.00 a box, so this was a HUGE waste of money! We bought them at Lowes, and Lowes will not take Christmas items back after Christmas, so we are out $160.00. I should have gone home and read the reviews before buying them! 1st year Great! 2nd year garbage 6 defective bulbs

Really like my last string of C9 GE color effects I bought 5+ years ago. They are still working without issue. The only disadvantage to those is that I couldn't connect multiple strings together. Would Be Amazing If They Worked Longer Than A Week

LIghts were great for about a week and than!!! One set would go out , than another would stop working and than all would stop working and than they would come on a day or so later and than finally nothing !!

After 2 weeks, stopped working

We put up two strands of these lights, and after only two weeks they stopped working. Don’t waste your money.

Put thr lights up and lasted three weeks before dying. Two strands down and no roof lights. They looked good for three weeks.
