great product

Easy to install. better grip. A little more money up front but I saved it in install labor cost because it installs in much less time.

Awesome underlayment

This product is so easy to use, it lays flat and its slip resistant. This is a thousand times better than conventional black felt and it covers more of an area. It also is cooler than black felt

Feltbuster

Decided to use instead of felt. Researched online and looks like a good product. seems pretty sturdy, you cant tear it.

Sub par product compared to others

I ran out of the product I had been sold to go with my roofing (SDP Palisade) so I had to run out and buy something to make up the difference. I grabbed this thinking it would be a suitable substitute. It did the job, but it paled in comparison. It was noticeably thinner, so it was far easier to tear. It required 4x the number of fasteners to keep it in place so that it wouldn't tear when walking on it. It is not suitable for temporary waterproofing in case of unexpected rains during the project...

Interesting Product

My first time using a synthetic felt. The weight of this material is a big advantage over felt.One roll covers a lot! 1000 sq ft. Kept the building completely dry through a few rain storms. My only complaint, I wish it were a bit more textured. It's too slick for this old guy.

Multi purpose

I used this product to cover a newly poured concrete foundation for a garage during construction to protect the concrete from all the red clay mud that would have been tracked all over it. It worked beautifully without bunching and did not get slippery.

very good product

Like most of us diy'ers... we are use to the old felt underlayment. I tried this product for repair and am surprised at the strength and ease of application. I like it and will use it again.

GAF FeltBuster

I had used felt paper for years. When I had a metal roof put on my house I noticed what they used. I had to replace my aluminum roof on my 20 x 68 Carport and Shed due to Hurricane Michael. This was and is so easy and light that I would not use any other kind. Just perfect !!!

A little more slippery than tar paper. Not as heavy but cleaner.

Felt Buster

First time I used this underlayment! This is really outstanding underlayment. You can walk on it without slipping, even when it gets wet. It withstands the weather fine. It was down for 2 weeks before I got back to doing the roof because of rain/cold weather. I do recommend using the cap nails and not using staples to anchor it down. Better than tar paper

This product is so much easier to use that traditional tar paper. It is lightweight, way more durable, and less messy. I have used this product before and came back to it again because it is the best.

Good stuff. I like it better than asphalt felt paper.
