Package was used

I purchased this product online and picked it up at the store. When I went to use it I noticed the little bag with the plugs was opened. The tool that's supposed to come in the package to drove the screws was not there. Also found a regular phillips head screw in the box. There were also at least 20 plugs missing, luckily since there's supposed to be 100 in the bag there were still enough in there for what I needed. Kinda Works

I bought these screws in the hope that they would make install easy. However, while some worked, most would not countersink. Due to the reverse thread near the head of the screw, the screws get stuck and spin in place. These stuck screws then protrude a significant amount.

Great but hard to find

Used these for composite trim on exterior of new windows. Work great

If you want a perfect attachment/finish on deck

I used these to attach my Trex Fascia to my new Deck. Strong, Easy, and clean attachment with perfect matching white plug caps to fill the screw hole.

Mostly good.

They mostly worked very well. Some went askew, but that's no big deal when they could be covered over with the plugs. Speaking of plugs: ingenious. The felt pad fell off the drillbit eventually, but that's no big deal. Even without the pad, you can see where it was to know when to stop screwing. The big problem was that if the inside end of the screw doesn't have enough purchase - for example, if there's no beam or other structural wood behind the surface - it's difficult-to-impossible to get...

Perfect depth set every time, the finishing plug made the hole disappear.

What sadist designed this crap?

Just had to tear apart my back porch step because the stringers were rotted... It was held together by these things. The screws broke apart, stripped, or tore giant holes in the material I was trying to salvage. I'm sure it works great going in, but pray you never have to take them out again!

Poor design all the way around

The driver bit stripped on the first screw and the head wouldn’t countersink, just spun and stripped out the borehole. Going to go back and get SS trim screws and dump this in the trash.

Work fairly well, but....

These work fairly well when I was attaching my trim seal pieces around my garage doors, however, you have to be very careful that they do not countersink too far. The material I was working with was very soft and the screws would counter sink so far that they would pull through the material. The felt-tip piece that acts as a stop on the countersink could be a little thicker or a little harder material to prevent the screws from being driven in too far. Work as advertised

I was skeptical about the plugs going in smoothly and being almost invisible. I'm also glad I did not bet on it because they look great. Be sure to let the driver bit "bottom out" when putting screws in. This ensures that the hole depth will accommodate the plug. No worries, it will not keep driving through your 3/4" trim board. Be sure to tap the plugs into place with a piece of wood or PVC trim between the plug and hammer or mallet. I gave the product 4/5 stars because the instructions are poo...

Work great so far.

The stores couldn't find them even though they said they had them. I ordered them on line and had them delivered to my house. We'll see how they look after five to ten years.

Tips could be sharper and heads could be harder.

Pretty good product but overpriced

Two things that reduce my overall rating on this are: 1. the screws are fairly soft and the heads strip pretty easy, and 2: there’s no good reason this product should be priced where it is.
