Not as good as petrol one but didn’t expect it would be. Overall not bad. It had some marks on body but as it was two days late we needed to get on and the lads had used it before I knew anyway. Knobs on handle constantly come loose but I will sort that.

Easier than hand compactor
Did a good job for a cheap tool on my tarmac patches and loose gravel path. Only problem was the handle screws coming loose and loosing the washers, did the screws up really tight without washers which lasted better. Machine "walks" along quite fast at times but can be held back with a little effort.

Nice and light but heavy enough to compact sharp sand, small agg etc. Quiet too. One minor nuisance... lower left handle hand screw which tightens onto the bar which attaches handle to the Evo body shakes loose within minutes despite the star washer... the one on the other side stays tight?? Neat size.

Ideal small machine
Compacted around 4 tons of Type 1 so far. Machine did a very good job for its weight. Much more pleasant, clean, quiet and convenient to use than petrol. No mechanical issues so far. Excellent

Wanted to buy electric Wacker plate for some time.. Bought this on the good reviews.. First time turned on my first thought is It working It went around and around like a old tonkatoy Would not use it for a proper job....

This is a fantastic little machine for home use. Where it lacks in the raw power of petrol alternatives it is so much quieter (keeping the neighbours happy) and very compact making it easy to store away for the next little project. Just be prepared to take a few extra passes to get the job done.

bought to compact my hardcore and sand before laying artificial grass. compacted very well and easy to use beats hiring as at hand when needed, and 3 or 4 times use covers hire costs

I am 71 and trying to raise my 40m2 rear lawn by 90/100mm to lay artificial grass. My new Electro Hulk allows me to compact the area in 30minute runs. If I do this in 40/50mm layers it compacts very well. All with no emmisions and very little noise. It also has the advantage that I can do the work at a steady pace without the cost of hiring a compactor on a time schedule. I am very happy with the Hulk which I can keep in the garage for future projects. Thank You
