What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the rustic aesthetic and affordability, with many loving the natural imperfections and final stained or painted appearance. However, significant quality control issues dominate feedback—reviewers report widespread damage including broken tongues, splits, and warped edges, with many stating only 1-3 usable planks per six-pack. High waste rates of 20-50% force customers to purchase substantially more material than planned. Despite these frustrations, most find the lightweight, easy installation and low cost worthwhile for achieving an attractive rustic look, though careful board selection is essential.

Would RecommendAs others have stated if you like a rustic look this product works. Sure there’s some waste but there is with most any other products when installed. Used over 400 sq ft for my shop ceiling and am very pleased with ease of installation and look.

WORTH THE PRICE
Would RecommendIT WAS WORTH THE PRICE EVEN THOUGH I FOUND AT LEAST ONE JUNK PLANK HIDDEN IN THE MIDDLE OF EACH BUNDLE.
good price for updated walls
Would Recommendlove this product. we used it to remodel some of the old walls of a 500square foot mobile home. 20 packages covered a wall in the living room, a wall in the bedroom and much of the bathroom. it was a less expensive option than dry wall and adds instant character to the space that competes with some of the faux wood panels that were used in old mobile homes. you can stain it, paint it or leave it natural. let is acclimate to your space for 4-5 days, you can use glue and a nail gun or just a nail ...
Great product
Used for a ceiling looks great just wish packaging was a little stronger on edges during shipping

Garbage! Read all of the reviews. Save your money
Would Not RecommendI wish I would of say the reviews before I bought this. I had to go to 3 Lowes location just to get enough packages for my job. I ended up looking through 105 packages just to find 35 that didn't appear to have to much damage. Most appeared to be returns or sitting around the store for years. Out of the 35 packages they still ended up with about 35% waste. I ended up buying carsiding locally to finish the job and would of saved money if I would of just bought it to begin with.
wood planks
Would Recommendwhen I ordered this product I thought it was wood paneling. it is very pretty when Stained.I thought it was A 4 by 8 sheet instead of wood planks.a package only covers 14 square feet so in that way it was not good. but it's turning out prettier than what I had planned. but it's also a lot more work.

ceiling job
Would Recommend01/2018. Factory needs to do some quality control on this product. Like any lumber sort, i was digging through the packages to find boreds that were not damaged. Many packages had boreds that were only fit for the trash pile. On install i had to convert my clams to spreaders to manage warped boards. Many boards had damaged grooves. With patients, brad nails, and glue, the final product does look nice.
Loved these!
Would RecommendWe did behind our bed in this to go for shiplap look, but way cheaper! It turned out gorgeous when stained! Few end pieces had to cut off but the knots and wholes gave it the look we wanted for a farmhouse!
Low Quality Product
Would Not RecommendI have used this type of product in the past and had great success with it and was very happy with it. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this EverTrue panel product, out of 6 boards in each package hardly any could be used full length. Broken edges both sides, knots that had fallen out, splits, and none of the ends were cut square. I got my project done by cutting out the bad areas & piecing boards together. I ended up having to buy more bundles to compensate for all the waste. It al...

Pine v- groove pine panel
Would Not RecommendNice product when you get a full piece that’s not broken or chipped. The panels come in 6 pcs per packet and most of the time there will be at the least one bad piece but the if your lucky there will be three to four bad pieces. Now imagine doing a 16’x 10’ wall.

Great for the price!
Would RecommendI recently built a large, covered patio roof, and used this as my ceiling. I went thru 23 bundles. Of the 23 bundles, I took 4 back and swapped them for better ones. Lay each peice out and make sure it is usable. I would say that I wasted about 5-10%, but used most of that as backing. If you take your time, the results are great. It also adds very little weight to our ceiling, which was an added benefit. I coated it with 2 coats for Thompson's Water Seal Golden Harvest and it looks great....
Good value.
Would RecommendI have used these panels many time in rentals and cottages. I have stained it and painted it either way it looks nice. When stained it gives a custom high dollar look for very minimal cost. Not all of the pieces are going to be usable so get one more package than you need. You can always return it. I have had good luck getting a discount if you can see some damaged panels in the package. Overall good choice over paneling.

Wonderful budget friendly option
Would RecommendI had a basement storage room that had to be turned in to a home office but the ceiling had a mess of drywall and looked horrible. That's where these came in. I put them up myself on the ceiling and I'm absolutely in love with it. Might stain it soon but for now I'm fine without finishing it out. It was a small 9x8 room so it only took me about 6 packs to finish the entire ceiling.
Two Suggestions:
Would RecommendSuggestion #1: Select the best packages at the store. The quality of the packages ranges dramatically. Some have 6 perfect planks, some have one or two. Suggestion #2: To minimize waste, stagger row starts so you can use different lengths. I did this on a ceiling and was surprised to have only 5% waste (which made excellent kindling in my wood stove).
Great Look
Would RecommendVery easy to install and stain. The only con is sometimes you will come across pieces that when milled are missing the tongue and/or groove part. So be sure and take in for waste when figuring how much you need for a job as well as cost.

Too many flaws in this product
Would Not RecommendWe had two problems. The first was poorly cut low quality wood. The second was handling/ shelf damage. There was just too much waste. In one short run area there were problems with tongue and groove match up where the level was bad.
