Used to redo our bathroom.

These used to be a bit cheaper. Quality control has gone downhill. But we needed them and couldnt find anywhere else. We stained with natural oak stain and sealed with Marine spar varnish sunce they were going in a bathroom. Used cheap lath strips to attach to ceiling. Walls we just located the studs and nailed thru the sheetrock with a crown nailer. Love the look!

Redid my entry way with this material and it turned out great. Super easy to put up and looks great painted or natural.

pretty but junk

We decided to put these planks on a large ceiling. I started with purchasing all the first store had in stock knowing that the other stores around us had plenty more in stock. What I didn't know is that out of every package of 6 we would average 2 usable boards. It took 5 stores and 3 weeks of rummaging through them to get enough usable boards to complete the project. I am not that picky. i like knots and color differences, etc. That gives it character, but we are talking about broken and busted...

Poor Quality

The company needs some quality control. Out of 6 boards in a pack I was lucky if I could find 4 I could use. I will never buy this product again or recommend it to a friend.

I like it

For the price, great look. It looked rustic, and was easy to stain. Also, it was EASY to install.

Lots of waste, poor product,

Figure on buying about 25% more than what you think you will need. Many boards are split, lots of broken tongues and grooves. I bought 6 packages and they were all that way. Shameful quality.

Fine for intended use

It's not the best quality wood, and some pieces are very poor but if you know that going in, for the price you can't complain. We're using to tongue/groove the ceiling and to be honest looks a lot better than I expected. Just know that not all pieces are going to be useful.

Good Grade Product

I bought these to use in my hallway. I didn't have any worries about this product cause, the product was of a good grade. It is much better then the m----- wood. Very little knot holes. Very little color variation. I didn't have to stand and pick thru the whole pile of pine panels to find good ones, like I do at other lumber places. Will be using this again. Going to do the living room and kitchen with this so I will be going back for a lot more of this panels. Look really great on the wall!

No Quality Control at Factory

I looked at 8 bundles at Lowes. I found 3 that didn't have busted tongue and grooves or the ends beat to a pulp. That is a total of 18 boards 8' long. When I got home and opened the 3 bundles 10 of the 18 boards were cracked. Can you give a 0-star rating! Need I say more.

Don't waste your time and money.

Was going to cover 214 SF of ceiling in the kitchen out of the first 3 packages I opened to begin staining I got only 3 pieces with good edges on the full 8 foot length. I'm not opening anymore of them. Loading the whole lot of them into the truck and returning them tomorrow morning. Pure junk.

Looks Great!

Just what I was looking for to cover old paneling on walls. Looks great and was easy to install. Downside is there is a lot of waste due to poorly cut pieces. I ended up needing to purchase an extra pack to be able to finish my project. I had limited full length walls to cover, or I would have needed more.

Great option for ceilings!

We stumbled on this product after a few false starts in attempting to plank our ceiling and cover up the popcorn. It’s very rustic and attractive, and by far the cheapest option. We were concerned that the tongue and groove design might be cheap and prone to breaking, but overall was very sturdy. They are lightweight enough for ceilings, but not so flimsy that they bow when nailed in. We have about 1700sqft total to do, and have done 500sqft so far. Very pleased.

Poor quality control

Most of the packages I have purchased,and that is a lot, have been damaged with most of the board unusable. That increases the price considerably when you are using the product on most of your walls and ceilings.

Exactly what I was looking for

It was exactly what I was looking for. Thin tongue and groove bare wood. Some of the groves were broken but it was kind of expected because it is so thin. Very responsible priced. Added some stain a few cuts and it came out pretty nice

Wainscoting Panel

We used this in a new bathroom, painted with White Exterior Paint and it looks great.

V groove pine planks

We've seen a decline in quality of these pine planks. They come in packages of six and you might be lucky to get one board that is not damaged.

poorly milled product

Being a woodworker, I know what a molder does to the end of the board. Essentially, it is unusable. Milled pieces must be milled longer and cut. This product includes all of the ends that the molder makes unusable instead of removing the unusable portion. So if you are nailing this product on the stud or joist, you will likely have MUCH waste. I regret starting the job with this product. Although it is a good looking product, I'm having to buy way more than I should have to. It's very frustratin...
