Would RecommendElmer's has great strength for just about every wood joining application. When fully cured after clamping, the bond is stronger that the wood on either side of the joint.

Applies thicker than the competition!
Would RecommendI purchased one bottle of a competitors brand and it was just too runny. The Elmer's Wood Glue provides a much thicker bead. I normally buy Elmer's Wood Glue; sometimes one just has try another brand and observe the results. Good luck on your projects!

Great strength and application
Would RecommendDecided to give it a try. Goes on thick which alleviates much of the mess. I tested a board by trying to dismantle the glue joint, which led to breaking the board and not the joint, so I conclude the glue joint is stronger than wood. I will buy again
