Ecobee at Lowes is Saving Me Money on Heating!

I bought an Ecobee 3 at Lowes to replace my 15 year old thermostat. The Lowes employees were very helpful and technical support from Ecobee was excellent and helped me configure the Ecobee to turn the heat on for an hour in the morning and to only add heat during the day to keep the temp at 60 degrees. One of the best features of the Ecobee is the graphing function which shows the running averages for the month. I'm very pleased with this product.

Long over due upgrade. Don't wait

we were long over due for an upgraded thermostat, and the Ecobee units seemed like the best choice for our home. It took me literally 15mins to install, and set our schedules as needed. The Ecobee3 thermostat was easy to install by myself without an electrician. I replaced a Honeywell wireless model that never worked right. I was happy from the moment the thermostat was installed and very excited about the prospect of having remote sensors in other rooms. Great Product / Great Support

I have had this installed now for about 6 months. Very easy to set up. The thermostat does require power but it comes with an adapter to use the current wiring and good instructions explaining how to set it up. In January I added a whole house humidifier and ecobee allows me to set the humidity level. Finally a REAL Smart Thermostat

The Ecobee 3 provides real smart thermostat features. The smart sensors are the key bit of tech. Being able to detect occupancy throughout the house and optimize the schedule and hearing/cooling in the rooms you are actually in are genius. Your schedule can be automatically overridden if occupancy is detected, which is a great feature. Added bonus is the sensors and the thermostat itself can be used as sensors to automate your other smart Home devices.

Smart & User Friendly

The ecobee3 was easy to install and the user interface is very simple/intuitive. My wife is not a huge fan of gadgets or home automation, but she found this the easiest to use of all the smart thermostats. Best home HVAC thermostat!

What a huge difference with this thermostat! We had a programmable thermostat but it would let things get too cold/hot before adjusting. The remote sensor has made a HUGE difference in comfort levels. Great product and it ties into our Amazon Dot :)

Best little upgraade - ditched the Nest

Context: I owned a Nest for a few years, in two different houses, and loved it. It was great to have control on our phones, Auto-Away was an excellent feature for when you left a room, and recent Amazon Echo integration was a nice touch, enabling us to control the thermostat with our voices. Great addition to my "getting smarter" home

I'm all about home automation so when I saw an opportunity to gain more control over my heating and cooling system, I jumped at it. Ecobee was easy to install, including a very helpful support call at 9pm to make sure I was doing it correctly. It's touchscreen and easy to use, and works! I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent Wifi Thermostat

I bought this thermostat because of the remote sensors. My thermostat is located in a room that no one uses, and did not want to change the wiring and position. The sensor is in a room that I am in and works great. Easy to install as long as you have a C wire or an extra to be used as a C wire. Highly recommend.

Couldn't be happier

I've owned mu ecobee3 for about 9 months now. It has worked perfectly in those 9 months. It's nice when you find a product that is well put together from start to finish. That includes the documentation, install, and the app that goes along with it. Everyone is just really well polished.
