2 button operation
Would Not RecommendI had a 5 ton splitter for 10 years and it worked great. Couldn't take it on a move so decided to get a new one. They don't tell you the new ones require a two button operation. The only issue with the old one was that the logs sometimes snapped and went flying. With this new ones to push the button you are putting your face down near the log. Why is two button operation required??? Unsafe piece of junk and I refuse to use it.

Junk used three times store wont return
Would Not RecommendSo I purchased this for small firewood. We tried using it but my wood didnt split was told too fresh so we wanted until end of season 6 months later tried using it again and the first couple od pieces split good then motor locked up. Tried taking it back to our joke of a store lowes and they said its past its return date. That would have been nice to know before I stored it in my garage for months before trying again.

First I would like to say that FedEx smashed the entire box so it arrived very dented. Too heavy to return to the store. It works but is extremely slow to split logs. So I don’t recommend it if you have a ton to split. It also runs out of hydronic oil a lot then stops working so make sure to purchase several mall bottles or 1 huge one because you will need it!
