Would RecommendOutstanding job splitting wood. One thing that made the splitter work better was to square the ends with my chainsaw. Was able to split logs 6 to 8 inches in diameter with no problem.

Know it's limitations
Would RecommendSplitter worked as advertised. Don't expect this splitter to split 8-10" logs in half. Need to work in quarters. All split wood was dry. Nobody should be standing in front of splitter for safety reasons. Logs will project forward.
