Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter 9000 Starting / 7600 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Looks great. Like propane

Got it set up for permeate location. Wiring will be in next week.looks good. Remote seems OK but works. Remote and quiet is what I wanted

DuroMax Generator performed as we hoped.

We received the DuroMax Dual Fuel 9,000 Watt Generator in January of 2023. Last night was the first time we actually needed to use the generator because of a storm knocking out our electricity. It performed as we hoped. We were able to operate our refrig., chest freezer, all lights and well.

MAJOR FLAW

MAJOR FLAW!!! re. Usage on propane ...the solenoid that controls the flow of propane will burn out after 10 hours or so of continuous run time, thereby causing a fuse located behind the front panel to blow and disabling the entire system...the solenoid must be replaced to continue use of gen set a time consuming and laborious task...the new solenoid will fail in a like manner

Excellent bang for the buck!

Purchased this generator to power our home with the exception of AC in case of an outage. The generator arrived in a timely manner by a very professional delivery service; who placed it into our garage as a courtesy. After the generator was unpacked, read up on and lubricated it was tested. I put about a quart of gasoline in and decided to test the pull starter. After one very lazy half pull, the generator came to life and ran like a swiss watch. I tested all the plugs, including the USB an...

Easy to setup arrived in time and great shape

Bought this last week easy to setup

Great Generator

So far I've finished the break in period and was really surprised as to how quiet this generator really is. Great buy.

Quiet portable generator.

Portable, easy maneuver around, quiet and enough power for household when main power cut off.Especially Gas or propane always available nearby.

New XP9000ih now running on propane

Update to my previous review. Recognized that the propane internal solenoid valve did not 'click' as these type valves normally do when activated. Was able to bypass this solenoid valve with the propane flow and the generator started and ran fine (on a 20 lb tank.). This proved that this valve was the problem. Before I had a chance to call in, a Duromax Technicial Suppot Rep called me to discuss my problem. He was very helpful in understanding the troubleshooting I had done and very knowled...

Won’t start out of the box

I bought this a year ago and just now tried to start it for the first time and it won’t even start! The engine turns over but then immediately shuts itself off. Not happy with this!

Love this beast

I have had this a week and it is a wonderful generator. Would have given it a 5 star review but it is heavy. I keep it in a shed outside so it doesn’t have to be moved! Problem solved.

Awesome Clean Power

This runs my sensitive appliances, refrigerator microwave tvs etc.Using a Generac GP6500 for the last ten years the XP900iH is a huge upgrade! No more worrying about the sensitive control boards on about every appliance or device in my home. And this generator is extremely quiet. 5 Stars from me. Thanks Duromax!

Great unit... quiet, easy to start, runs my A/C!

We have frequent power outages and this unit was a significant upgrade from an older 5,000W peak square wave unit. Now we have enough juice to run the window a/c in one room along with (intermittently) 2 freezers and the fridge. Now that we made the switch to inverter technology the TV, BluRay, and laptop can be used. I'd say I'm quite happy with the generator.

Good generator for the $$.

Works great, much quieter than my ancient 5000W generator. The wheels could be a bit larger for rolling over uneven surfaces and (related to that) it's a BEAST. I'm not sure what it actually weighs but it has significant heft. The controls are easy to read, easy to use. Just overall a good product.

Very Quiet for a Big Dog

Just received my 9000ih today and it fired up on LPG just like every review and video I’ve watched said it would. I’ve yet to put load on it, but it is shockingly quiet for a “Big Dog” of a generator. I’ll use my 9000ih as a home back-up and everything I’ve read, and watched, indicates I’ll be able to run everything during our frequent power outages- and it gives me a huge sense of relief living on the Gulf Coast of Florida entering another hurricane season.

Excellent Generator!

We bought this generator ahead of the storm season. The instructions were great on how to get the generator started and the website was great for how to break the generator in. One of the quietest generators I've ever used.
