Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter 9000 Starting / 7600 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Great generator for RV

Easy to use and start up a bit on the heavy side but still a great unit

Generator Setup

When going to connect the battery it was lodged in the frame that holds the cover. The battery strap was still attached which made it difficult the relocate the battery back to the tray. No issues with start up.

just love this machine quiet generator powerful !

Idle down feature and 20 hrs run time on a Tank

Purchased the Duromax 9000 11 months ago and haven't had to use it until this passed week a storm came through Maine. The wind blew down a tree on my line snapping my pole in half. No power for 5 days. I was so glad to have this generator. It ran for 85 hrs with out any issues. I changed the oil after the first 25 hrs with easy access. Love this beast.it powered every load I gave it. The hour meter worked great after 25 hrs of use.

Great Inverter Generator

Just made great use of my new DuroMax xp9000ih as my home state of Maine was hammered over the weekend with wind and rain knocking out power from the electric company for around 20 hours. The DuroMax 9000 came through the ordeal with flying colors and no issues. I had opted for a GenTent to keep the generator dry and I am extremely satisfied with DuroMax and the generator. Thanks for a great product that I purchased and had installed just in time for the power outage!

Great generator

So far, so good.... did the break- in and have since already needed it once for an outage. Works great, of course quieter than my open frame prior, but I really love running it on propane. 100lb tank always ready a 40 for backup. Quality build, great delivery from DM directly. Using as home backup and really wanted inverter with the ability to possibly parallel connect. Feels like the right choice.

Good Generator

Bought this generator about a month ago as a back up, good packaging, easy start up, have not used since the power has not gone off, time will tell.

DuroMax 9000 watts

Great Inverter, use similar one for home, this one is for business. works great. (when I registered the product it doesn't allow me to register in Puerto Rico which is not a state but part of the US, that's my only complaint!

Excellent First Generator

This is the forst generator I've ever bought for my home. I wanted an inverter style generator primarily for the "cleaner" energy delivery and the noise. I saw a few criticisms online concerning this generator's lack of a 50amp plug and a regular neutral wire for the parallel kit. However, I don't see that ever being an issue for me because I only have a 30amp plug for my home. It ran perfect when I ran a full test on propane and gas. I've got a great feeling about it's performance in an actual ...

Great so far

I back fed my panel with an interlock kit and fired up the generator. No issues at all so far. Instructions were a bit unclear - I believe the manual was written for a slightly different front panel, but no problem figuring everything out. I did not turn any high current items and the meter indicated 0.4 Kw. The genset was much quieter than open frame models. I consider this unit a good investment.

Nice unit

Followed directions, Very clear direction for set up. Runs as it should, and is very quiet for the size.

Great features and very quiet

Very happy with this purchase. Just did some test runs and the generator was very quiet and started right up. Appears to be very high quality unit.

XP900iH

Arrived early by RL carrier. The unboxing was easy just hooked up battery, added oil and gas. Started and runs smooth. Still in the break in period for now. I wish it included a RV adapter, 8mm and 10 mm driver in the tool kit to access the panels for adding oil and the battery.

Amazing powerhouse generator. Super quiet. I wish the oil panel would have been easier to access, have to unscrew every time to check or add oil. Plus the tool was not included. The extra plugs came in handy. Thanks!
