Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter 9000 Starting / 7600 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Well-constructed!

My first impressions are that this is a quality product. While the shipping box was damaged, the contents were unscathed due to their care in packaging. Setup was simple and the unit started right away. Especially like the remote control starter and easy-to-follow instructions for starting which will be beneficial if my family needs to start it up. Have not load tested it yet but have confidence it will do the job. The smaller wheels make it somewhat difficult to maneuver if grass is involv...

Looks Great

So far, so good. I haven't used it yet (except to test) in any serious way, but it appears to be very well built. It's easy to use, comes with complete and simple instructions, and started-up just like it should have. I plan to use it exclusively with propane (to avoid issues with gasoline and long-term storage) but I did test it with running my entire home and it worked fine.

Duro Max inverter generator the wants and needs.

I ordered the generator from Lowe’s website and it arrived on time to my store. The notifications during transit to show its location is fantastic. Once I arrived at the store to pick it up the staff was more than accommodating to load it up for me and very polite. Once I got it home it was easy to remove from the box and all the parts were there for an easy assembly. I added oil to the unit and hooked up the battery as shown in the instructions, the generator started without fail. It supplies e...

Hooked up the gas started in less than 20 seconds

We were surprised how quiet the generator ran compared to our old generator.

Generator

I purchased this to be able to charge a Ford Lightning. Worked great even using propane. Was pulling 6,800-6,900 watts consistently without any issues.

9000iH Generator

Finally got to set up and everything worked great. A bit nosier than expected, just waiting now to get transfer switch installed.

XP9000iH

Seems like a very good answer to my "Emergency Generator" needs.

One of a kind Customer Servvice

I bought this generator and after a short time of use, it completely broke down and was not working at all. Absolutely strange and none of the lights came back on, nor anything else. It was DEAD. Brandon from their Service Department is a Rockstar, he was always responding fast and solution oriented, he provided me potential causes and possible solutions. After several try and error, he decided to send me a brand-new unit. Outstanding Customer Service, who flipped a complain into a opportunity. ...

No regrets on this purchase

Took this generator out to our camp this weekend. Nice and quiet and the best part. I filled it up at 9:00pm. And we left camp at 10:00 am. And there was still an1/4 tank of gas in the tank. Running out 37’ camper and our external 1/2 hp well pump. The remote start is great. And we had to use it when the wind switched and pushed the exhaust back into the generator house and the CO2 alarm shut it down.

Amazing Value! Powerful, Quiet, and Great features

I bought this generator about a month ago because we have frequent power outages in our neighborhood and I wanted to provide clean power to my entire house without risking damage to sensitive electronics. This beast provides ample power to run my entire home and it quietly purrs like a kitten. No assembly required, just connect the battery, fill with oil, hook up propane, and press the start button. I love the dual-fuel option since propane is much safer to store in a residential setting and doe...

Love This Generator

Bought this to replace my noisy non-inverter generator that started burning oil. Love that I can use it on my existing propane grill gas hookup on the house. It runs the well pump (#1 priority to have running water) and almost all of the circuits in the house using a generator interlock.

Dead On Arrival

Lowe's sold me a dead on arrival DuroMax generator and won't replace or give refund! Buyer Beware!

So far, so good

I bought this in November 2022 and have only ran it enough to break it in, and test it every month. I have changed the oil a few times to get all of the initial metal particles out of the oil. I have operated a few devices so far to get a feel for using it. It starts easily with both the battery and with the pull start. I haven't had any power outages yet to test it out in that respect. I am having an electrician coming out in a few days to install a power inlet box so that I can run the whole h...

Ease of Use / Thorough Instructions

We bought this unit to use during blackouts, that are becoming more frequent in our area. In setting up this unit the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. This unit operates very well and for a Generator it is very quiet. I would recommend this to anyone who needs this kind of power for their home, camping or parties.

Nice Features!

Nice unit that came packaged well! Highly recommend!
