Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter 9000 Starting / 7600 Running Watt Gas and Propane Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Love the full meter panel absent on competition

The generator is just in the break in phase and has not been tied to our house yet. However, there was virtually no assembly required, it was well packed and started easily. As importantly, I had a few questions and unexpected concerns arise during setup. Customer service was helpful, and responsive The rep that I spoke to, Denzel, was super-knowledgeable and went out of his way to help me out. Service - 5 Inverter- 4+ hopefully a 5 once I see how it performs under true load.

Do Research

I look around at different inverter generator before I buy the Duromax 9000iH. I really like another one, but the biggest problem with it you get different info from people with the company. They don't have any support beside a phone call. They told me they are working on that but who knows when it would come to be. Also there produce was 1 year duromax 3 years and has local support in my area. I'm in the process of getting it set up, I do put break in oil in machine did the first 5 hours run...

Great Generator

Arrived well packaged, undamaged and fully assembled. Added oil and fired it up on propane. It started immediately and carried a light household load for an hour while breaking it in. The digital data screen is nice. Looks to be top quality and is very quiet. The THD specs are great, too. Overall, I'm very impressed with this machine.

Great features on a powerful machine!

Bought in October, took 2 months to be delivered. Setting it up now.

DuroMax XP9000IH Generator

I purchased this in November 2022. Shipping was right on time and within an hour of expected arrival. VERY well packaged with no damage. Set it up to run on propane and it fired right up and ran very smooth. I've ran it off and on with different loads with no issues. Recommend. Nice unit. Doug

Good Generator

have two of them they work great just cant figure out why the fuse keeps blowing

Highly recommend

I bought this generator two weeks ago love the way it looks and the way it runs. I have a 10 position transfer switch. It runs my whole house. I have it hooked up to a 250 propane tank. It’s good to have power when you need it.

First review - post receipt and setup

Unit arrived well secured, protected and packaged. All parts and components were clean, well secured and wiring/wiring harnesses well installed. Setup (incl. oil fill up) took me roughly 20mins. Unit started on 3rd turnover (I suspect this is because I am running it on propane and the that propane required “priming”) *NOTE: the unit attempts restarts on its own.* Subsequently started on first attempt. Display looks great, bright and informative. Nice and quiet when low idle is “on”. Sou...

Best purchase for this Florida girl

I was so happy when Hurricane season was upon us because of this purchase. why? because i don't have to worry about being hot without power after the storm any longer. Thanks DuroMax it works just as you said it would. whole house power with just the exception of the water heater.

Finally a Top Quality 9KW Dual Fuel Inverter

After returning a Champion 4650 Watt Inverter than never ran for more than a few seconds, I bought this beauty -- DuroMax XP9000iH. The Champion was like a cheap motor scooter, and this DuroMax is a Harley. Solid, heavy but maneuverable, easy starting, good looking, with all the right features, and a nice sound. I'm running on LPG with no issues. The remote electric start/stop does exactly what it should, with no fiddling with chokes or otherwise. And it's surprisingly easy to move around with ...

Xp900iH

I bought this a month ago and have used it 2x. Runs quieter than traditional generators. Came with a broken wheel which they said they would ship when in stock. Using it as a whole house feed when power is out. It is nice to be able to use lights and not worry about fridge and freezer. So far running only propane so the fuel doesn't age.

So far so good

Just got it. So far so good. Tools provided are wrong type. The hex screws are recessed so hard to tell what we needed. You need an 8mm hex socket to open the side panels to place oil, connect battery etc. and they provide you with an open end. Called for help and person on phone eventually figured it out for us. Otherwise so far so good. Started right up. Works on propane and gas. SUPER QUIET! Remote control very cool and it works! I love the fact that it has an easy plug for the batte...

New brand to me

I just bought this unit and have been breaking it in. So far so good it transitions very smoothly from low idle to a load. It is very quiet. I will be comparing this unit to my 6500 watt Honda that powered my home during power outages. So far I feel I made a wise decision to buy this unit. I spent hours upon hours watching YouTube videos about generators and the xp9000iH was the most impressive. This unit kept the voltage in the safe range consistently under overload conditions very impress...
