Nice Generator

I’ve had it a little over a week now. So far so good. Pretty quiet for the size of the machine. I bought it as back up to my solar system. Works well with the solar inverter/charger. The remote start is awesome. I feel it uses a bit more fuel than advertised but definitely not a deal breaker.

Came in as promised. Started right up. Tried it on gasoline and propane. So far works good. Haven't hooked to house yet does not come with oil. A lot quieter than what I thought it would be.

This generator is made with the operator in mind. Everything is laid out nicely. it started right up the first try (propane) I am still in the break in period but I don't expect any problem.

I purchased this generator after the worst storm in Buffalo,NY history! (12/23/22). That’s saying something as we have a LOT of competition for that title. This DuroMax, XP9000iH is quiet, powerful, and dependable at a reasonable price. I had to use it several times after this storm and was assured it performed as advertised. It proved it can perform in any kind weather Buffalo can throw at it.

Excellent generator

I love this thing, easy to use and dual fuel is a plus when we take it out on our RV trips. Clean reliable power output never makes me doubt that we will be able to run almost all the creature comfort appliances our RV has installed. Only took it on one road trip and I don't regret buying the generator, even though it is larger in size. Loading it into the back of my truck is a bit tricky, but using motorcycle ramps on the tailgate makes the task a lot easier. Just have someone help you get ...

New to the generator market

Did my research, assessed what I needed. This unit was more than I needed but hey, can't have too much power. Arrived undamaged and after following all the install steps I started it up, plugged in the 240V plug to the previously installed transfer switch box and everything worked like a champ. Surprisingly quiet. Downside was I did not receive the female plug for the 240 volt connection, just the male end (got both 120V plugs).

Awesome machine

The machine was delivered on time and undamaged after traveling across the country. This generator is very quiet. It's very powerful. I ran my initial load test and brought most of my house on line including 4 window ac units. Our minds are at ease now knowing I have a significant inverter generator that won't possibly damage any of our items that have a circuit board in them.

XP9000iH

I have only started the unit on propane to make sure if runs. After purchasing I wish I would have gotten a generator that has a floating ground as it would probably be easier connecting to my house as backup power.

Would not recommend

I was really excited about this generator until I received it. The display did not work or show any information on voltage or hours ran. After my first use of about 30 minutes the generator then would not start at all. The unit is very heavy and was difficult to package up and send back. Duromax did Ofer to have it fixed under warranty but the closest shop was two hours away from me. Customer service was great, I wish the product was as well.

Very nice so far

Bought for home backup, or rather partial home backup. This will feed a manual transfer switch with 8 circuits plus our hybrid water heater. So far this thing is great, tested it with the house and various small loads over the last few weeks to break it in and has performed flawlessly. Only negative I can say at the moment is the hour meter doesn’t keep track of total time, or at least mine doesn’t. Seems like that would be super helpful to track maintenance intervals.

Great Generator!!

Very simple to use! Packaged very well! The weight is decent for the size. The panel is very informative with comprehensive information. Love the fact that you can hook 2 together for future expandability and double kW output. Would highly recommend!

Awesome generator

I just got to test this out today it worked flawlessly. Loaded it up to 3.6 ran fine. Could not believe how quite it is. I did have an issue running my whole house AC while I had the generator in low idle, once I turned low idle off it ran great. Did not trip when the condenser fire up. Low this generator

Duromax XP9000IH Inverter

Packaging was great and the generator was well protected. It was an easy setup, just put oil and fuel then connect the battery. The generator started right away and I was impressed with the display screen. The generator is also super quiet just like those Honda gensets. So far I’m pleased that it can run my 2 refrigerators, 3 aircon inverter split units, fans, and all my interior lights. Solid and heavy

Bought this unit for standby power for the house. Housed in a separate building with power vents and primarily runs off a 500 gal propane tank. Runs quiet enough, from the house I have to listen closely to hear it. I chose the inverter style because of all the electronics in todays appliances, computers, and wall wart items. I am happy so far, but don’t have but a couple hours on it. NO assembly required! Just add the oil and fuel.
