What Customers Are Saying
The generator offers good performance and power output, able to handle heavy loads. It has dual fuel capability (gasoline and propane) for flexibility. The unit is easy to start and operate, with features like electric start and USB charging. It runs quietly and has a compact design. However, some customers reported quality control issues like bent frames or missing parts upon delivery. Longevity concerns were also mentioned, with a few experiencing problems after extended use. Overall, it is a capable and reliable generator, especially for home backup power and light/medium duty applications, but may not meet the needs of those with particularly demanding power requirements.

Great Expectations!
Would RecommendI reviewed many generators on line and spoke to several reps regarding different ones...for over a week. Finally decided on this one , worked most of day getting it unboxed and "ready" for hurricane season. Haven't used it yet. (hope I don.t have to). but plan on cranking it up tomorrow and playing with it a bit. Waiting on free cover to protect my new investment.

disappointed
Would Not Recommendbought this 13000 watt duromax generator in May 2025 after 2 storms here in Springfield MO. We needed backup generator and after doing my research chose this one. I put it together and after having a manual transfer switch installed I ran a test run for 3.5 hours. it ran great and put out enough power to run everything needed. Yesterday we had another storm and lost power. Set up generator and started it. It ran for 30 seconds and died. won't restart. No help from duromax. waste of money.
does not run
Would Not Recommendbrand new, out of box. does not run. ill str but wont stay running. read reviews and this a chronic problem with this generator. should not have to repair a brand new generator

Easy start
Would RecommendI’m a 74 year old woman & it’s getting difficult to pull start engines. After assembly the battery was dead soI started the generator on the 2nd easy pull & let the battery charge. I feel comfortable, with proper maintenance I can start this with the battery or pull.

Would RecommendThe product arrived a few days ahead of schedule. I appreciate that fact. I won't be able to hook it up for testing until next week but I have every confidence in its function and quality.

A pretty blue brick
Would Not RecommendThe generator failed when I needed it. In fairness to the company, the starter battery was dead but when I replaced that, the generator still didn't work. Even though I registered the generator when I bought it- and the company acknowledged receipt of the registration by email- they said that I was not in their database and refused to provide support. I've got a heavy, expensive blue brick now with a company that refuses support. Buyer beware--I would not buy a product from this company ever...
