Ratings & Reviews for DuroMax HXT Series 15000 Starting / 12000 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane, Natural gas Tri fuel Portable Generator

So far so good but some setup issuesr

Quick delivery, couple of setup issues - 1. missing flat washers for wheel assembly, 2. hard to get off pallet, 3. checked oil before I added and the dipstick showed only a tiny bit on the end so I thought it was near empty as manual said it would be -I added the required 57.5 oz and it was over filled and I had to siphon out a quart. Dipstick still reads above H with oil level about an inch below threads on fill hole per instructions from DM support tech. Hard to get this accurate as dipstick i...

Great fearures

I wanted something to run my entire house, minus a few things. When I came across this 15000 unit and the price it was a no Brainerd.

Awesome generator

Why buy a Generac you have to leave behind when you sell your home? Get a Duromax! I just bought the 15000HXT and do not regret it one bit.

Plenty of Power

Love the tri-fuel options. The remote and push button start helps a lot. For its weight, its easy to move around when needed. Solid built, plenty of powering options. Versatile for any items you need to power up.

Impressive machine

Received my 15000HXT and was very pleased with the quality of system. Looking forward to breaking it in and powering the whole home with it. I absolutely recommend this generator and having copper windings separates this from other manufacturers. Also, I love that I can take it with me anywhere I go compared to stationary generators.

Just what we wanted

We wanted to run off natural gas to avoid constant refilling of gasoline. We fired it up and our electrician tested the voltage and was surprised to see it was the same as what we were getting from the power pole. Very robust and ran all 3 AC systems with ZERO problems. We are very satisfied!

Backorder

I bought this generator a year ago and am happy with the generator. But the support leaves a bit to be desired. The battery switch went bad on it so I submitted a warranty claim and a repairman came to the house. He ordered a new battery switch over a month ago. He was told by the company that the switch is on backorder. I notice that the generators are on sale and so apparently, they are still being manufactured. It would be nice if someone could locate the part I need so I could get my generat...

Great generator powers the house

I bought the 15000 watt tri-fuel generator last year after my previous generator died during a hurricane. It works great running at reduced output using natural gas. Still enough power to run most of the house!

Perfect for Whole Home Backup

This generator is a beast and test runs shows it runs my entire home without struggling, on NG, propane and gasoline. I would highly recommend this bad boy to anyone living on the Gulf Coast, wish I would have had it during last hurricane season when we took a direct hit but alas I had a small black max unit that kept just a few essentials on. Is it bad when you want a hurricane to hit so you can use your new gen?

XP1500HXT

Bought this Generator 6 months ago. Runs excellent and puts out all the power I need

Great Generator To Run Your Whole House

Had this generator for almost two years and it has run great every time we have needed it. I did add a soft start to my air condition just to reduce the jolt on the system. Every couple of weeks I run for a few minutes to make sure it's ready when needed. Have a 2800 sqft home with 5 ton air condition. Runs the whole house without an issue. Highly recommend it.

Great Features!

I bought the 15000HXT July 2024. Luckily, I have not had to use it in case of an emergency but I have kept up with the maintenance and turned in on every other month to ensure it works. It power my entire house and I am very please with it! Great delivery and easy setup.

Very reliable

I have had this generator for 11 months. I followed all the instructions, did a break in run and changed the oil. I start it and run for about 30 minutes each month, and it starts on natural gas the first try every time. It runs my entire house, excluding the pool pumps and the electric oven and electric dryer. We have a 4 ton a/c unit with a soft start and the generator handles it with ease! Great generator!

Great Generator for Whole House

I’ve own this generator for two years now and it’s runs flawless, it powers my whole entire house, including two air-conditioning units without any issues. It’s a lifesaver during a power outages in hurricanes.

So far so good

Haven’t had to use it yet, but I’ve had a Duromax before and it’s synonymous with quality.

15,000HTX

Runs as advertised. Have 2500sf house, runs HVAC and all appliances.

Hands down the best generator on the market

This is my second purchase of a DuroMax generator, and I have been extremely pleased with the overall quality of the product. I did months of research on generators, and these are the best.

Duromax XP15500HXT

Powers right up, runs everything I need for a storm to include the 5 ton ac without a soft start and is still at 63% load with the AC on. We have it set up to run master bedroom, master bath, kitchen, pantry, 5 ton ac, garage with two garage openers, living room, dining room and two bathrooms.

Recently Purchased

I just received my new generator and unpacked it. TThe owners manual & packing was very well done. The assembly of the wheels & handles was very easy. I'll be using this generator to power my home when power is out, primarily during and after hurricanes in south louisina. I'm not looking forward to having to use it, but I like knowing that it will power my home, including the AC when I'm witthout power.

So far, so good

Easy to set up. I purchased this unit to run our entire house, A/C included. Still breaking it in, but fired right up on the first use and is working perfectly. I purchased synthetic oil and another filter so I can service it once the break in period is complete. This thing is a beast!!!
