What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this generator for powering entire homes effortlessly, including large AC units and appliances across 2,200+ square feet with no issues during outages. The tri-fuel flexibility—switching between natural gas, propane, and gasoline—provides critical emergency adaptability. Reviewers highlight solid construction, reliability over months of use, intuitive controls, and remote start capability. Many completed installation without professional help. A few note minor design inconveniences like awkward battery access and dipstick placement, though these don't diminish overall satisfaction. Most consider it a dependable, long-term investment for emergency preparedness.

Vary affordable over a standby generator

Home Back up made easy
Would RecommendSo far I happy with this purchase (15000HXT) start up instructions were laid out perfectly. This model is heavy help would have made it easier but it is what it is. Will finish home hook up once I have my gas meter tapped with 3/4 quick connect. Kind of excited for tue next power outage

Haven’t ran it yet but looks very nice

Good but Unboxing instructions incomplete
Would RecommendWheel assembly is difficult to accomplish on the size of pallet used. Only two wheel washers were included so I assume they go on outside of wheel bearing. 450 lb generator is tough to tilt to get front support legs bolted on. Other than that, assembly was easy and operation seems good. Ask me about it in 6 years.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND RUN
Would RecommendI bought the DuroMax 15000 Watt XP15000HXT to replace another brand generator. Assembly was easy and the first start using natural gas was easy as well. Look forward to using it the next time we have a power outage.

1st Generator - XP15000HXT
Would RecommendJust finished break-in on gasoline, waiting on plumber (calling after holidays) to install NG tap. Product came within estimate for delivery, assembled easily and was relatively easy to move using attached handles. This beast is heavy as proclaimed by other reviewers, but not a problem to move around. It is loud at full speed, but not bad at "idle-down" speed. Very pleased thus far, and really glad for the peace of mind as we're in Oklahoma where (at least where we live) outages, while not frequ...

Backup Power Ready to Go
I purchased the 15,000 tri-fuel to power our house during outages. Much easier to put on line than my tractor generator! Living in the country, we always need to be ready for standby power.

Backup Generator
Would RecommendTri-Fuel XR15000HXT - Currently all wired to its own circuit breaker, next will plumb direct to natural gas line, then have a stand-alone 350lb propane tank as a secondary backup and 100 gallons of zero ethanol gas on hand as the 3rd backup. It's wired it to run only the essentials, entire garage, freezers, microwave, oven, vent hood, and lastly the master bedroom, closet and laundry room for internet purposes. Get your generator, get it hooked up, and be prepared. Don't get left in the dark....
