What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this generator for powering entire homes effortlessly, including large AC units and appliances across 2,200+ square feet with no issues during outages. The tri-fuel flexibility—switching between natural gas, propane, and gasoline—provides critical emergency adaptability. Reviewers highlight solid construction, reliability over months of use, intuitive controls, and remote start capability. Many completed installation without professional help. A few note minor design inconveniences like awkward battery access and dipstick placement, though these don't diminish overall satisfaction. Most consider it a dependable, long-term investment for emergency preparedness.

Would RecommendHaven't had the chance to use it but I did get engine set up and ran it on my natural gas line. Residential homes usually have to have the meter changed out to accept this type of generator, well, it ran just fine without upgrading my orifice and saved me a little money. Been following this 15K gen for a while and finally bought it. Hopefully, I'll never need it. But in case I do, I wouldn't be stressing out my smaller generators running the house. And surprisingly with as big as this thing is, ...

Doro Max generator.
Would RecommendI just bought this generator so far. I like everything that it does. It looks like it’s gonna do everything that I needed to do very happy. I have already told three neighbors and they went and bought one too.

Worked as exoected
Would RecommendTested with ng hookup and my new transformer switch. Worked like a charm. Dont expect anything different when the real outage take place. If it was 12” smaller in all dimensions would be nice. Lifting up versus getting a ramp to roll. 200lbs is lighter than 360 lbs to lift by myself onto a truck bed to travel. Beside saving storage space.

Impressive Flexibility and Power
Would RecommendAfter 13 days without power in 2024 and lots of investigating different solutions including whole home generators, I settled on this model. It was delivered and set up two weeks ago. I was surprised how large it is. Calling it "portable" is a stretch. But anyway, hopefully if/when it is needed it will deliver. I am not mechanically inclined, but it seems pretty basic to connecrt and start up, and I am told it will power the whole home, including two AC units (with soft-start) which is crit...

Doing Good So Far
Would RecommendWe have had a few months and have run it and changed the oil and ran it some more. It runs great. The battery placement is horrible and needs to be adjusted. This seems to be the only design flaw.

Happy DURAMAX customer
Would RecommendI was impressed with the build quality and features. The accessories that were provided were very useful. Would allow me to build my own extension power cables if necessary. Control placement was good. Generally, operation was intuitive. I have almost finished the break-in period.

Good fit and finish
Would RecommendI wanted one of these but could not get it because of CA ban on gas generators. When they suspended the ban I ordered one immediately. Very happy with this generator so far. Am currently breaking it in. Quality item. Stable voltage and frequency. Right around 1% or less variation.

Awesome machine
Would RecommendEasy to assemble. Started right up and powers the house without a sweat.

Nice generator but…..
Would RecommendExhaust location in back and not on the side makes it a bit difficult to position the generator. Battery is too difficult to get too.

Worst product and worst customer service ever
Would Not RecommendThis is the worst product I have ever encountered, and the customer service is even worse. They only operate during Pacific Time, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Spare parts can take months to arrive. The service center's website is misleading; many locations no longer want to work on Duromax products due to the delays in spare parts. My advice is simple: don't buy it.
Great Generator
Would RecommendThis generator is amazing. It handles the load without any issues and super simple to get going.

Her name is “The B3AST”
Would RecommendBought for Xmas. With all the recent extended power loss here in Houston and not wanting to pay 15k for a whole home generator, I purchased it. Still within my 8-hour break period but she runs like a demon! More than sufficient to run my whole home with natural gas. I would recommend to anyone!
