pricey but worth it...

tried other tapes, was more satisfied with the results here than others. Also, removing is easy! Less ripping of tape when pulling it down. Would use again, happily!

No mess solution

I have used this for painting so I dont get paint on the trims or anywhere it is not suppose to be. I also hang pictures with this tape. I doesnt pull off the paint, no holes from nails in the wall and it keeps the pictures hanging nicely and I can move them around to different rooms with ease.

Love a Product That Works

Our family moves around a lot, and like to make our house our home. One way we do that is to paint. The kids like to have fun designs in their rooms. And we have tried other tapes, and done different designs with different things. But this tape makes the process so much easier. We love it!

Quick paint job in the den

Taped around ceiling, edges and baseboards of my den in 25 minutes before painting. Pulled off tape strips and no run on or mess. Helped to make a quick paint job of the den.

Excellent for design painting

I have used this to paint stripes on my living room walls and It worked perfect! i used my license to run down the sides of tape before I painted with 2 colors, after painting I pulled the tape off and it did not pull off the paint underneath it nor did it allow 2nd color to run beneath the tape! I am just starting a painting project in my hallway and will definitely be using this tape!

Painters tape is perfect

I purchased 1 roll of the painters tape and loved it so much I ended up getting every roll from then on, of the Duck brand. I have never had paint come off when I remove it. I would highly recommend this product to us do it yourself painters!

painting but not walls

I bought this for painting but not for walls. It works really well as artist tape and to hang pictures on my wall without it taking some of the paint with it. I can imagine it working really well for wall painting.

Worth the time and money

For me this is a must when I'm painting a room. It's easy to remove and works really well to help you keep clean lines. It means a little more time spent at the beginning of a project, but it's time well spent.

Great help with painting projects!

I recently repainted one of our bathrooms, and it had a lot of wood trim that needed protected from the paint. I was able to use this product, and I was impressed with how well it kept paint bleed from getting on the trim. I was easy to put on and easy to take off. I will definitely recommend this product to anyone that has a painting project.

was not a good experience

i painted my ceilings a white , waited for about a week and a few days then when i wanted to paint the walls a different color ,i taped the ceiling with the duck tape so i could get a clean straight line , after painting the walls i waited about 1/2 hour and pulled the tape off and to my surprise it also pulled pieces of the ceiling paint with it !! now i have a mess and need to call a professional painter and pay him to come out and either fix it or tell me what to do !! this is not acceptable ...

We just bought a house and we've done a lot of painting! Including the outside of our house! The most needed product is painter's tape. I like it because it doesn't cut itself. Lol. Some other products I've tried do.. Seriously, it's annoying especially when you're trying to finish something ASAP. Yes, I agree with the description "easy release". I love this product that sometimes, during one of our parties and I need to put a banner on our wall, I use it as a tape. :) Then I don't have to worry...

Quality is what you want

I tried the painter's tape last week when painting my downstairs bathroom. It worked well for the job at hand. It also dis what it was supposed to do. I only had a slight paint bleed and one mishap with the tape pulling the paint off. I do believe that was my fault. I didn't pull the tape a an angle as I took it off the wall. So, overall the painter's tape is a good quality tape to use for at home paint jobs. I would recommend the product.

Never fails me

when I do canvas paintings (not very often) I use this tape because I can never seem to make a straight line also it doesn't tear paint off the wall and it doesn't crack the paint either.

Loved it!

I loved using this tape for my painting. It is easy to apply to my surface and easy to remove when I make a mistake (quite often, lol). In addition once I was done with the project and the paint had dried it removed easily without ripping any paint away from the wall. :) I highly recommend this product and it works amazingly if you know how to use it and follow directions.

RUINED MY PAINT JOB!!!

I applied this tape and removed it as directed and it completely ruined my brand new paint job! I have to re-paint an entire wall because when I removed the tape, it took the paint that was connected from the piece of tape to the wall and completely peeled it off. It happened in 4 different places with 2 different brands of paint so I know it was the tape.So not only did I waste money on the tape, but now i have wasted money on paint. noy just for painting

you may not know this but you can use duck brand for more than just painting, yes iy's wonderful to use when painting you can create whatever shape and or design you want on your wall using this easy no mess tape then when finished just simply remove tape and you have no messy residue left on your wall and beautiful clean designs that you painted you can turn a boring room into the room of your dreams, want to go on vacation but don't have the time or money...no ptoblem just bring your vacation ...
