Still peels off paint!

Everything I read said this was what was needed to not peel paint off my walls. ABSOLUTELY untrue!!! Just like scotch and 3 others I tried this too peeled the paint off my walls! 3 coats of kills primer on a new sanded drywall cured for 2 weeks and it STILL peeled the paint off my wall forcing me to redo all 4 walls in a room!!! Don't believe what they tell you this crap doesn't work! Now I have to return the remaining 2 rolls halfway across the country because I couldn't even get it here! Unles...

Don't use it on your car or boat

It don't say anywhere on the label that you can't use it with acrylic enamel auto body paint.. The glue from the tape came off and left it on my trim. Now I have to wash it off my trim with lacquer thinner or some kind of solvent and pray I don't get any on my new paint job. It's probably grate for house paint but I would recommend test it on anything else first.

Absolutely rubbish

Pulled off paint on emulsion walls under the tape not even on the joints. Now I have jagged edges. There are better own brand alternatives then this.

Very poor quality tape

Im a scenic painter in the film industry and we use a variety of tapes throughout production for our scenic work. I was shocked at how poor the quality of this tape really is. It did nothing but rip the paint right off the walls to everyone’s dismay. I am more than disappointed and would not recommend this tape to anyone I know.

Horrible

Used this tape to help cut down on painting touch ups and found it completely horrible. Does not peel away cleanly and usually pulls up big patches of paint from the surface. I would not recommend this product. Using this tape wasted more of my time than it could have saved. Very dissapointed.

Awful- would not recommend.

Tried to paint a plaid wall in the nursery- everything was fine until it was time to take the tape off of the first set of stripes. It legit pulled all the paint off with it.

Terrible - now I have to repaint AGAIN

Used this instead of 3M to give it a chance. NEVER AGAIN. It sticks to the surface just fine unlike other reviewers. However it ripped the paint off of the high areas on the texture of the wall. Clean release - yeah right. Sounds like inconsistencies in manufacturing among other things. Do not buy this tape.

Not As Advertised

Purchased this product because packaging indicated it was safe to use for recently painted surfaces. We painted our kitchen 2 months ago, but was just painting the trim and this tape pulled the wall paint off when we removed it. Followed instructions on packaging, but it still peeled our wall paint off!!! Now we have to repaint walls!!!

The idea is nice

bought this tape to use around trim. I didnt want to have to remove the trim to paint it. This tape is terrible for painting. It won't stick to anything except itself. If I could, I would give it negative stars. For the price, it should do as it is advertised.

Painters tape

What you do is tape off a design on your driveway or sidewalk and color in the different squares with sidewalk chalk. This tape was fun to use and even stuck to our concrete sidewalk so our design came out perfect!

comes off without ripping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do most of the painting at our house and I like to tape off EVERYTHING before I start because I'm not neat at all when I paint. Sometimes the tape is saturated and then has a tendency to rip, but this tape surprisingly did not rip when I was pulling it off! It make clean up so much easier!

Gets the job done good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Duck Clean Release Painter's tape when repainting my living room. I used it around my doorways and baseboards to keep the paint from going on them. It goes on easy enough and held of the paint pretty well. I didn't experience any paint bleeding which was awesome. It was also easy to remove. Overall, pretty good tape, seems to get the job done, would definitely use again for any other painting projects I have.

Great tape for all sorts of things

It’s really nice tape for using to section off areas, go around places that you don’t want to paint, and creating nice straight lines. Very handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I have often used duck brand packing tape this was my first time using it with a handle. Application was a breeze and I am sure it will come in handy in a myriad of situations. The tape itself is much higher quality than other brands.

Best painting tape I have ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this painting tape at the suggestion of a friend. It was easy to tear, stuck firmly to the wall and once the paint was applied, came easily off the wall leaving no marks in the paint. I will definitely buy this tape again and will recommend it to others for future projects.

Easy enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the tape dispenser makes it easier when taping anything. It works as expected but it could be easier if they gave some directions for tape installation . The tape is pretty sticky yet easy enough to dispense.

Could be better

Its easy to hold on to and not lose your grip on it. The tape that came with it has good stickiness and thick. The issues I am having with it is the blade itself cutting the tape. Made moving easier!

She had SO many boxes and this sucker packed up dozens of boxes without the tape slipping. Cuts were clean and precise and all around it was a pleasant experience. This has a permanent place on my tool shelf.

Must have when painting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to repaint some rooms since I was moving and this tape was great. The tape was sticky and easy to use, but it was also easy to remove. I was able to get straight lines with no residue or issues. I can definitely tell a difference between this tape and using a cheaper brand. I will use this for all my future painting projects.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Clean release painter tape is easy to apply and easy to remove. The tape does not rip. It actually leaves a clean line when removed. I would have liked a little wider tape because I am not a neat painter, but I would definitely recommend this product.
