Great drill and great price

This is a great drill at a great price. I prefer the key lock because drills without it eventually strip out over time. This drill is a beast and the handle locks/unlocks easily. I highly recommended it.

DeWalt 10 amp drill

This is my first corded drill. It is a monster. Easy to handle and has plenty of power.

good solid drill

Drill works well for commodity grade equipment. Plenty of torque, two finger trigger is nice. clam shell construction flexes when under heavy use along the seam on the back of the handle. This drill is sturdier than the corded 1/2 inch dewalt hammer drill.

POWER!!!

We needed an electric drill. We have 4 Black & Decker cordless drills, but trying to find batteries is next to impossible. This Dewalt corded drill works perfectly with tons of power. Almost drilled thru my floor all the way to China! That’s power!!

Over priced!

Why buy this when you can buy a Chicago Electric for $35. It's just as good if not better. Don't get me wrong DeWalt is good, but over priced.

Best Drill I have owned!!!

I had a tough metal drilling job and couldn’t get through it. I bought this drill with a cobalt drill bit and it went through like a hot knife through butter. I use this drill all the time and tell everyone to buy it. I will never own anything but DeWalt!!!

Strong and powerful drill.

As a contractor I have used a lot of brand name tools. I do like DEWALT products and own many. This drill is very well made and the trigger allows very good speed control. There are times that a battery operated drill just doesn't have the torque to get the job done. I considered other brands but chose this drill as the best drill for the money. Not put in use as yet. spec and fist power up of drill sounds powerful. So far no problems with the dewalt line of tools

Strong 1/2 Drill

Bought this one after my 8 year old dewalt 3/8 drill finally gave out. My primary reason for purchasing it was the larger 1/2 size higher hp and the much needed forward grip. Overall I would say this drill should be able to accomplish anything you need. But I was a little disappointed with it on my first project.
