What Customers Are Saying

The drill bit is of high quality and performs well, cutting through materials like steel and aluminum with ease and leaving clean holes. Many customers found the size to be suitable for their specific needs. However, some reported issues with the product description, stating the advertised shank size did not match the actual size, which caused compatibility problems. A few customers also felt the bit was priced higher than expected, though acknowledged quality tools often come at a higher cost.

Not a 3/8 shank

Would Not Recommend

This bit does not have a 3/8 shank and would not fit into a standard 1/2 drill. The shank is larger than advertised. I also checked in the store, and it is the same problem.

Finally the right size bit

Would Recommend

I had to return the original 9/16 bit I purchased as it did not fit into my drill. This one with the narrow shaft was perked. Used it to drill hole in my front door to install a peep hole. Perfect size, easy drill and easy install. Not sure if I'll even need this size bit again, but if so I'll have it available.

It’s a drill bit.

Would Recommend

Needed this to drill a hole through a crossmember on a truck in order to facilitate an upgraded track bar. Did the job well, did not require much extra effort to get the job done (I did drill a pilot hole prior to using this bit).

Needed it for front door.

Would Recommend

I bought this for the sole purpose of adding a peephole to the front door. The door is foam wrapped in steel. It took seconds to drill the hole and the hole was clean. I had a problem of it walking on me so I used a smaller bit for the pilot. The bit is for a 1/2” chuck.

Perfect!

Would Recommend

Just what we needed to drill our metal door to put on the door knob fixture. The manufacturer asked for this specific size and it worked perfectly! Well worth the cost.

Does what it says on the tin

Would Recommend

It's a bit. It drills. Well, I can put it in my drill to drill a hole, anyway. That's close enough. I have yet to see it dancing the Twist, but maybe it just needs some time to get comfortable around my other tools... Cut metal about as expected. Hole appeared to be the right size, but I didn't have calipers handy to verify that beyond the basics.
