Barely used and buttons stopped working

Bought this about 9-10 months ago, all the buttons stopped working except the power/volume. This was used in my garage and never moved from its spot since I got it. It's a piece of garbage. Save your money unless you want a 200$ chock block. Dewalt won't get a penny of my business again.

Underwhelmed

Disappointed with this radio compared to my old Makita. Not weather proof, plug in can only be inserted when battery is removed, sound is just ok. Off/on switch is also the volume and is easily bumped on or off accidentally. LCD display is too bright if using off site plus I like having a time display. Finally, what is the aux option for? Who uses this?

Great Radio!

I love the radio and the ability to play through Bluetooth. The ability to use a Dewalt battery makes it even better however, I would've liked the ability to charge batteries.

Not reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On/off button failed. Won’t turn off. Also will not operate when using cord. Cord is good. Tested voltage out and well as continuity.

not worth the money

I bought this in December for my husband to use out in the garage it worked fine for 3 months and then it just quit working. we have alot of dewalt tools but definitely not happy about this radio.

Would recommend purchasing.

Got this for the shop I work at and it doesn’t disappoint. I mostly run it on battery and even for the 3ah battery it lasts quite a long time at over 75% volume which is definitely loud enough (the front office complains they can hear it loud and clear). Sound is good for the price and has adjustable bass and treble. Short circuit

Got it as a gift for Xmas. It will not turn off at all. Have to unplug and/or take battery out to shut off. It will stay on for about 10 to 15 minutes and then shuts off. Seems like it has to cool off or something because a half an hour later I can turn it back on again for a little while.

Had it for a couple of years now

I've had this speaker for a couple of years & it still works brand new..Have both bass & treble settings at +3. Still sounds amazing. I use it both with the battery & wall plug in option depending on where I'm using the speaker at. It's gone through a couple of falls & left it outside in light rain a couple of times. Literally still works

truly disappointed ... and I love DeWalt products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this a week ago .. surprised that the radio has such lousy speakers and for some reason cannot pickup several local stations that i can get all the time in a car or on other devices. I will stick with dewalt mostly because of the battery.. but what a disappointment .. why not make it great? the price is not cheap.. just don't get why it isn't the same Dewalt quality

Defective Power Switch

Similar to the other comments regarding the power switch, the radio stopped working after using three times. Certainly a manufacturing defect. I would not recommend purchasing this radio unless the switch is revised to a different model/type. It didn't even make it to the jobsite. Hopefully Dewalt will repair.

Very disappointed!

I bought this unit in December of 2021, worked well for a while and then one day it would not turn on. I tried the cord, I tried just a battery, but it would not turn on. I walked into my shop the next day and it was on by it self! I took out thr battery and it would not turn back on... I have read that alot of others have had this same problem. I'm not happy at all and hope this can be replaced or repaired.
